Room wasn’t fit for anyone to stay in. Screw sticking out of skirting board, bodged paint job, huge hole in bathroom where cover not fitted and build up of dust inside tube, silicone missing in shower, silicone used to repair work that needed better work, rusted radiator, heating cut off when room got to temp set so within 3 hours room dropped from 21 to 16.5 degrees, fixings missing or not correct fit on plumbing, paint splatters all over glass shower screen, window didn’t close fully as gaskets need replacing so draughty, air vent on top of window lose so caused a draught, contractor vehicles in 3 out of 4 disabled bays, the list goes on and on and have raised issue with Premier Inn.
Staff where all friendly and helpful, a credit to the company!

Room not fit for sale

I am a flight attendant, and i needed to stay here because of my early morning starts, which meant getting a good nights sleep since i would need to wake up at around 3am, however i was unable to get that due to the radiator making loud creaking, high pitched sounds ever 5 minutes. On day two of being there i requested to move rooms and they happily did that for me, however I had the same problem in the other room. Therefore i was not able to have the proper rest i needed for my early shifts. I would not stay here again.

Couldn’t sleep

I arrived just before 3pm and was told I couldn’t check in until 3pm unless I paid £10 early check in fee so I waited. At 3pm I went back to the desk where two female clerks were sitting talking. They completely ignored me and carried on chatting. After a few minutes one of the women looked up and asked me if I wanted to check in. I said yes and she continued her chat with her colleague for another minute until finally asking me my name. I was finally checked in and went up to the room assigned to me. It was very tired and shabby looking. It only had a shower - no bath which I was very disappointed about as I am a hot bath lover. I went down to reception to ask if I could get a room with a bath. I was advised that the hotel did not have any rooms with bath and the website says this. I decided to change hotels as that was a deal breaker. I checked the website and it doesn’t say anything about no bath. I use Premier Inn regularly and this is the first time I’ve been ignored by check in staff and seen such a shabby room. I went down the road to Premier inn Dunstable South A5 and had a very different check in experience. Lovely lady who made sure I had a nice room with a bath and I had a very pleasant stay Thank you

Avoid premier inn Luton south M1  junc 9

Stayed nearby our family for Christmas night and Boxing night.  Staff were very warm and welcoming, The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed.  We ate with family so didn't sample the food but the breakfast looked and smelled nice. 

Very good stay

I love Premier Inn hotels, you get such a great level of quality for the price you pay. We needed somewhere to crash overnight on Boxing Day whilst travelling, and this did us perfectly. For £49 (plus £10 for one adult breakfast) we got a nice clean room, great service and three comfy beds. Parking was free and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The room had an en-suite bathroom with a nice hot showers and we were able to connect to the free wifi for the kids, so all in all you really couldn't have asked for any more for the money.

The breakfasts are always good at Premier Inn too, I had my two daughters with me who were both under 16 so they got to eat free with me as a paying adult, so again for the money, what a great service. A great range on offer too, and they enjoyed going up as many times as they wanted and picking anything they wanted.

Really no complaints at all, it was perfect for what we needed and allowed a good experience for us all.

Just as you'd expect with Premier Inn

I called the hotel prior to arriving to see if I could request an upper floor room and in a quiet spot of the hotel. A lady took my call (wish I knew her name) nothing was to much trouble. Arrived and was given our room key and it was exactly as I requested. Room was clean and tidy a bit tired to some other Premier Inns I've stayed in but couldn't complain. Great nights sleep lovely comfy mattress. Next morning we had a continental breakfast prior to our morning flight from Luton. It was really nice. Lots of choice as per the menu and the quality was great. This hotel is right near to the M1 and dosesn't really have anything nearby other than a petrol  station. If you need a restaurant or supermarkert you need to drive to Dunstable 20 mins away. We were fine as didn't arrive until 8. 30pm. The drive to Luton airport is around 10 minutes to the car parks and the same for Airparks. We used that service and it was fine but I prefer the on site car parks Mid -stay or even long stay as the bus journey is only 5 minutes. Air parks was around 10-15 minutes. Good service though from that operator.

1 night stay - Flight from Luton next morning

We stayed at the premier inn the night before our flight out of Luton as we had a very early flight. The room and the facilities are well dated but the bed was very comfy so we had a good night's sleep before our flight. The facilities leave a lot to be desired but it's a good hotel for staying over before a flight out of Luton but won't be my preference for longer stays.

Good for early flights

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room clean, comfortable and quiet. Well positioned near the M1 Junction 9, so easy access. I felt welcomed and safe.  Harvester restaurant next door for convenient dining.l

Quiet, comfortable, friendly

Parking and noise were not brilliant builders vans used disabled  spaces!Avoided breakfast this time as on previous visits noticed how much 
people handled  and coughed over open food! Staff were friendly though.

Necessary visit only

Was pleasant and comfortable stay. Wi-Fi was not great connection in the room. Parking was great. Clean and staff were friendly. Very helpful for any needs. Breakfast had variety of choice with cooked or continental. Atmosphere was pleasant and quiet.
