Lovely hotel, very clean modern rooms. Fantastic staff. I stayed for 2 nights and it was treated exceptionally well, the team were very helpful. Special thanks to Martin and Connor. Will definitely stay here again when I am in Sheffield next.

Good location, great team, lovely stay

Quite disappointed with the quality of this hotel in Sheffield. I have booked it - to finally try the one next to the arena, as in the past I have stayed in the Dundee branch and I was content - however this one has nothing to do with it. They gave me a room right next to the elevator and stairs - on top of that there was quite loud noises that could be heard from the guests upstairs and I indicated since I arrived that it will be an issue for me. I was up that day from 4.30 o'clock and was really looking forward to a good night rest and a bath. I got none of that. The bath tub was non-existent as they said that as part of their refurbishment, now showers were placed in the rooms - mind you in Sheffield Centre (Angel Street) I stayed in their Premier Plus double and even in the more expensive rooms they no longer have bath tubs (neither a proper wardrobe). With regards to the noise, the receptionist said that the stairs and elevator should not be a problem and that he heard the noises from the guests above my room and that he spoke to them and that they indicated they'd go to sleep soon, otherwise a room for people would disabilities would be available. The noises didn't stop well until 00.45. I went to complain downstairs and the reception workers had changed, so had to explain the situation from scratch. They referred me to put a complaint in via the website.

Thought it would be useful to relate this - as this is one of the more expensive options in its range at times, but also in my case I found it disappointing in terms of the price/quality it provides. Also, please note I have made the booking more than a month in advance - this was not a last minute booking to be allocated a room next to the elevator/stairs.

Too many noises.. no bathtub. Quite disappointing!

Visited the premier Inn at Sheffield arena to see Les Miserables as part of our golden wedding celebrations and our stay was superb in every detail, Lauren and Matthew on reception gave us a warm welcome and the staff decorated our bedroom which was beautiful, the hotel was well placed for the arena and the drinks and food were excellent and good value for money, we will definitely stay here again when we come to the arena, thank you everyone for making us so welcome

Wonderful stay

Excellent staff, so friendly and helpful, lady in black outfit, Lauren? Sorry didn't get name, went above and beyond opening the restaurant earlier so people could get to the show, which had an earlier start time. 
Food offer very good value.

The best Premier Inn we've stayed in

A fabulous Premier Inn. Absolutely spotless, with lovely, friendly, happy staff. My daughter is coeliac, and the breakfast staff were very helpful and fetched all of the menu details and GF toast from the kitchen. We felt very safe eating there. It wasn't advertised on the website, but there was a large selection of GF options on the evening meal menu, too. Pity that we had already eaten!
I would highly recommend staying here - especially as the Utilita Arena is so close.

Woken at midnight to dripping from the fire alarm sensor, reception informed and told we had to leave the hotel at 1am on one of the coldest nights of the year so far (-4).  This meant we then had to get up even earlier than if we’d stayed, meaning lack of sleep and less refreshed for the following day.

Do yourself a favour, skip this premier, by far the worse one I’ve stayed in.

The room had been set up for a single occupancy even though I had booked for myself and my son. 

The main room was spotlessly clean but the bathroom smelled of urine although appeared clean.

On returning from our evening basketball event we found a strong smell of Cannabis on the second floor and a gang of teenagers with hockey sticks hanging around near the stair well. 

For the next two to three hours there was people running up and down the corridors, doors slamming and people slamming

The hotel is very poor : parking is a difficult between poorly parked vans, room smell like a brewery and restaurant was like construction site full of labourers in dirty overalls, food was blunt and not tasty.

Very comfortable rooms and beds we stayed here after watching a show and reception were very welcoming, courteous and friendly.. very very very clean rooms and shower facilities.  Menu choice on the day was very good as well and food presented well

Spent Christmas Eve at the Premier Inn for three nights.  My family, who are located just a short distance from the hotel. I was somewhat nervous. Despite the fact that this was a budget hotel, I enjoyed my stay. The key card was required to enter on the lift, but otherwise, check-in was really simple. It's really well secured. I particularly felt extremely safe staying with my adolescent child. There was a guest bed in addition to the room's gorgeous large double bed. The beds are quite cosy. They are, in my opinion, the ideal. Bathroom is little and comfortable. The ultimate basic novel, something between light and cosy.  Freeview is available on the TV. In the future, I would advise them to upgrade this to a smart TV for their visitors. However, I would recommend staying here again.
