We stayed in Crow's Nest and the beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious, and the standard of cleanliness was high. There is definitely attention to detail that I have not come across at other self-catering accommodation. 

I will definitely be back! 

More welcoming and friendlier hosts you will not find! 

The apartment was thoughtfully laid out and contained everything we needed (including plenty of sockets). The guest garden is ideal to relax in. 
It is within easy walking distance of Shanklin Old Town and the Chine.
The owners were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had but respected our privacy the rest of the time. 

The only down side is that we had to go up several  steps outside and then up another staircase inside to get to our Apartment (there is no lift). However the owners did offer to carry our cases if we wanted them to.

The apartment was well equipped, in a great location and soon felt like home.

We've just come back from the villa (early sept 2023) and the place is fantastic.  Self catering villa (we stayed in The Den) and it was great.  Everything you need in a self catering appartment.  Great hosts - not that we needed anything - washin machines, tumble dryer next door - all good.  We've done a lot of touring the UK since Covid and the Isle OW has to be the best place we've been so we'll be going back sometime soon.  Beaches very close and you can get across the whole of the island with 40 minutes.  Great for sightseeing, walking, jogging etc etc.....

Superb stay in Shanklin at Luccombe Villa

The apartments are lovely with tasteful decor, equipped kitchen and comfy beds and sofas. The location is good within walking distance from Shanklin village and the Chine. There is a nice swimming pool in a pretty garden. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Quality apartments with pool and superb location

We stayed at the Pines Apartment for the weekend of the Isle of Wight Festival what a beautiful apartment lovely & clean comfortable beds pillows etc, I would definitely recommend the  owners are lovely & friendly & very helpful hope to go back there soon 😀

Pines Apartment Shanklyn 

We have just returned home from yet another return visit to lovely Luccombe Villa. A truly exceptional base in Shanklin for a holiday on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Kind and caring hosts. Well appointed apartment. Clean, fitted and furnished to a very high standard with the added bonus of car parking. Already booked for 2023! X

I thoroughly recommend staying here and have done for many years. Clean, bright Appartments, with beautiful views. Handy too for the beach, the old village, the Chine and nearby amenities.

This year we stayed in Downs View, but Two Hoots and the Crow Nest are my other favourite apartments in this family run business.

All apartments are dog friendly. There’s a very handy utility room on site too. 

I wish the new owners great success for future years (who are very welcoming, with nothing too much trouble).  We’ll be back for sure!

Truly beautiful, wonderful place to stay!

Lovely, clean, well stocked apartment with everything we could need. Great little patio area for the dog and very pleasant to sit outside in. Heated pool was brilliant with inflatables for the children to borrow as well as a beautiful garden and sun loungers. Owners extremely welcoming. The other two apartments stayed in by other family members were of equal quality and beautifully set up. Great location to town (short 5 min walk max), Shanklin Chine, which is 2 mins away, and beach (steps set between Shanklin esplanade and the dog friendly part of the beach). Beautiful beaches and close to some great pubs and eating places.

Fabulous self-catering apartments

We came on a family holiday , grandparents , parents and a three year old and a seven week
old baby. We stayed in Cherry Tops which is a three bedroom property with a balcony. 
I was impressed by the owners helpfulness even before we arrived.
We arrived on a hot day and we were instantly impressed with the cleanliness of the property. It was immaculate and in this present day that is so important. 
We found the property to be very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed and more in it. 
We were blessed with wonderful weather and the outdoor pool was a real hit particularly with our three year old grandson who never wanted to get out and our seven week old grand daughter who had her first dip. The inflatables  were a great hit. 
Having holidayed in the beautiful Isle of Wight many times over the years this has to be the nicest place we have stayed in. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and to Shanklin. And the accommodation just wonderful . We have already booked for next year!Thankyou Gavin and Bronwyn.

A wonderful place to stay

We stayed at Luccombe Villa in Downs View for a week this July. The apartments are modern and very much feel like a home away from home whilst you are there. 

Gavin and Bronwyn are brilliant hosts and cannot do enough for you. They are kind and caring and always around if you require anything. 

The garden is a huge bonus to what is already lovely accommodation. Gavin and Bronwyn put a lot of time and energy into maintaining the garden and it is definitely appreciated by the guests. 

Overall, our stay at Luccombe Villas felt like a calm, tranquil escape from reality and we will definitely be back!
