My sister and I stayed here recently for 3 nights. The hosts Mick and Sheila were kind, friendly and the perfect hosts.  The room was lovely and clean and had a table & chairs in the window with views of the church. Also there was a fridge outside on the landing which was brilliant to keep wine,  food etc! The breakfast was delicious from cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit salad which was so fresh and delicious with optional greek yoghurt, cooked breakfast , eggs benedict, and anything that you fancied.  It's been a real treat and The Middleham B&B was the icing on the cake. Thank you Mick & Sheila.  Kathryne & Marlene

Birthday treat

Had a two night stay at The Middleham whilst walking the Cleveland Way. B&B in good location and received a really warm welcome from Sheila and Mick. Twin room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed (TV, WiFi, small table and chairs, use of a fridge just outside room). Had nice big windows with view of church opposite. Breakfast was great ( fresh fruit, cooked breakfast with good quality ingredients) and set us up for a day walking. We would definitely stay again!

Spent the weekend here for the whitby fish and ships festival shiela and mick were the perfect host they made us feel really welcome, the room was amazing had a sea view. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was to much trouble would I stay again most definitely

Absolutely couldn’t ask for more, everything catered for by the wonderful Sheila and Mick, rooms are spot on, roomy and spotlessly clean, breakfast supberb, if you’re looking for a b n b in Whitby you can’t do better than the middleham ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whitby short stay b & b

We had a 2 night stay here August bank Holiday weekend. Sheila and Mick are wonderful hosts. Our room on the top floor was modern, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, very well cooked, nothing was too much trouble. The Middleham is convenient for walking into Whitby, and we had a discounted parking pass for the nearby car park for our whole stay. This place is a real gem and we would definitely return.

Wonderful stay

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and would definately stay there again. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfy! There was also a great choice for breakfast.  Sheila & Mick make great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Lovely & Friendly Stay

Great accommodation , lovely hosts.
Very comfortable room with view towards the seafront  and sea. Good choice for breakfast , well looked after, nothing was too much trouble.
. Easy walk to all the attractions. Parking very close by arranged by the hosts.

Amazing find

We stayed at the Middleham on the recommendation of my nephew who stays here frequently and we were not disappointed. The guest house was well located with plenty of parking in the West car park, with a parking voucher supplied at a discounted rate by our host.
Mick & Sheila were the perfect hosts, very friendly and accommodating. Our room, on the 1st floor, was very clean, modern with a very comfortable bed. Fresh milk was supplied for drinks in the room from a refrigerator on the next floor up, and the property was very tastefully decorated with interesting photos and pictures on the walls. The cooked breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. There were cereals, fresh fruit, and yogurts also available.
Thank you for a pleasant stay and we will come back again

Perfect

This was our first visit to The Middleham but won’t be our last as we had a brilliant stay. We had the large bedroom at the top of the hotel, great views ( binoculars supplied ) and a reclining settee and spotlessly clean, as is all the hotel.
The breakfasts were excellent and cooked and served by the great hosts, Sheila and Mick, who can’t do enough to make your stay brilliant.
Looking forward to our next stay and highly recommend The Middleham.
