Really well appointed and immaculately presented by a pleasant and helpful couple. Not sure what else to say about this place ... just book it and see for yourself.

Stayed in the Annex with 3 friends on a golf trip and had a great time.

Absolutely wonderful B&B close to tons of activities in North Berwick, with great hosts, and cozy rooms. On our vacation to Scotland we stayed in North Berwick for a couple days and loved our experience staying at the Golf Lodge. Tom and Emma are fantastic hosts; they gave us great recommendations on things to do, and had coffee and a warm breakfast for us. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and we loved the location. It was so refreshing to be able to be walking distance from the shops, and made it so easy for us to get around. The B&B is also very close to the train station, and we took the train into Edinburgh for a fun day of exploration. We already can't wait to come back to Scotland, and would love to stay at the Golf Lodge again!

Our Favorite Spot in North Berwick

Very nice hosts and good accommodation. We were there to play golf and the host couple were golfers themselves and gave us great tips. Extra plus for a very good breakfast. For a group of friends, the studio is a good option

We stayed as a six golfer group at the Golf Lodge. Emma and Tom are the best hosts you can imagine and they own a wonderful house. Perfect scottish breakfast and any support you need for a good time in North Berwick and its marvellous West Links.

A wonderful time

Fantastic B&B in the middle of Scotland‘s golf coast. The hosts Emma and Tom took perfect care of us, a group of six golfers from Berlin. Rooms were big enough to host a whole family with a delicious Scottish breakfast served in the morning. And North Berwick is home to some of the best golf courses in the world. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Great Golf Hotel

Had stayed here several yrs ago and quite happy to return.  Spent a week playing golf with wife at end of July, 2023.  Stayed in the large room, No. 3.  Quite roomy, clean and extraordinarily maintained.  Emma and Tom Hill are great hosts, willing to go out of their way to help their guests.  Breakfasts were excellent, of very high quality.  Location is great--short walk to West Links and to all local restaurants.  Emma and Tom made our stay wonderful.  

Great B&B for North Berwick. 

We have been travelling to Scotland´s East Lothian region for golf for more than 25 years. The best place to stay for a group of 8-10  is North Berwick Golf Lodge. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxed and private provided by Emma and Tom Hill. Breakfast is made to order and you have the house to yourself if the group reserves the whole property. Emma arranges all the golf and makes dinner reservations at local restaurants. In all highly recommended.

The perfect Golf Lodge

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful place.  Tom and Emma are exceedingly kind and gracious hosts as well as excellent cooks; our breakfasts were outstanding.  One night they made a lasagna for us and accommodated the vegetarian in our group deliciously. Must mention Frankie, too.  They walk him down around the North Betwick course. If I ever return to this lovely town, staying there is a must.  Jon Muir

Outstanding in every way. 

4 of us stayed in the lodge this time last year. This year there were 6 of us on a 2 night, 3 day golf trip - 4 of us stayed in the lodge and 2 had a room in the B&B.
Accommodation is first class, breakfast outstanding - & piping hot (one of my pet hates is lukewarm food - no problems here!).
Hosts Emma & Tom are very friendly and attentive (but not at all overbearing) and run a great facility here in a beautiful red stone Victorian house.
Lodge has all mod cons & is finished to a very high standard with wide-screen TV with sound bar and all the channels you can think of!
Great location too, not only for a golf trip but for a trip to explore the local area with the family - North Berwick is a beautiful town.
All in all, would be my go to place to stay for trips to the area - no hesitation in recommending.

Second Visit to the North Berwick Golf Lodge B&B

Golf trip with 8 friends. We spent 4 nights and the accommodations at The Golf Lodge were terrific. Tom and Emma are tremendous hosts. They are so friendly and the food is fantastic. We split our trip into 2 lodging venues and I only wish we could have stayed our entire time with Tom and Emma.  I would highly recommend the French Toast in the morning. It was my go-to for each morning. We enjoyed home cooked lasagna for dinner one evening and it beat every restaurant dinner we had. The room was very comfortable and well appointed.  Don't know if I'll make it back to Scotland but if I do I will be staying at the North Berwick Golf Lodge B&B.
