Jackie and her husband are the warmest and friendliest of hosts, attentive and professional. Everywhere is immaculately kept, the rooms are excellently equipped with a small fridge and hot drinks with wine glasses etc easily accessible. Our breakfast on both mornings was exceptional and Jackie's pastries are incredible. 

The location is simply perfect for exploring the Highlands such as Aviemore and the Cairngorms which we did on a days hiking. Can't recommend this place enough.

Faultless stay

Stayed here en route to Orkney in Scotland - amazing guesthouse, beautiful decor and amazing service and hospitality from Jacquie who looked after us from start to finish.

Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be returning one day. 

Fantastic Stay

Welcomed by the owners on arrival - temperature checked before entering property which was good - very well prepared for visitors to social distance  - exceptional rooms - we had 4 poster bed room - warm and comfortable.  Lovely property - breakfast was of a high quality ordered the previous night.  a great stay - recommended. A great end to our holiday. THANK YOU MIKE AND JACKIE

Great overnight stay at Ard-na-Coille

Having been to many bnb's and guesthouse, this hands down is the best/my favourite. We stayed in the king size room which was beautiful and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Jackie and Mike are the most attentive hosts. I have dietary requirements and Jackie went above and beyond with this ensuring I was well looked after. Her food was delicious! My husband loved the baking (couldn't have this due to my dietary requirements!). Would stay there again in a heartbeat. 

Best guesthouse/Bnb ever stayed in 

Jackie what a woman.you could spend a week here and not get bored the lady is superb not stand offish greats you with the warmest smile.place is incredible rooms are massive it's not about the rooms or the breakfast  which are brilliant Jackie's baking ate all her cinnamon swirl s she even gave me a doggy bag it's no about the place or anything it's people that make your stay.jackie your a gem and Mike what a genuine guy.cheers from Stevie dawn and lewis

Felt well looked after in a sumptuous
Elegant house by Mike and jacquie amazing friendly hosts. Breakfast is an additional delight. Waking up to beautiful scenery and grazing sheep out your window. Hidden gem.

AMAZING

Our room was no room but a spacious suite with views across the Cairngorm National Park! Breakfast would have done credit to the best of 5 Star hotels in a beautiful room with rural and mountain views. It was a privilege to enjoy such a wonderful home. Thank you Jacquie and Mike!

A night in an amazing home!

We go here quite often and we have the four Poster Bedroom with en-suite bathroom. It’s wonderful. We have become friends with Jacquie & Mike over the past 12 years and their standard is always the same, excellent. Their breakfasts are great and wonderfully presented. The room has a small silent fridge and a jug of fresh milk as well as water is provided and for those extra treats there are a variety of biscuits. Jacquie and Mike always go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable with plenty of suggestions of what to do or eat if you want to know. To us it’s like home from home. It’s off a main road but on a hill so very quiet. Fabulous for some R & R. There’s nowhere else we’d rather be in the Highlands.

Wonderful

We had a spacious room and spacious bathroom. There were chocolates and a fridge with drinks. We had a warm welcome. But still we were a bit disappointed. That is because the bed didn't sleep well. The bed was huge but uneven, a pit (hope that is the right English word) in the middle of one of the mattresses. We think the mattressess were in need of replacement. The shower in the beautiful bathroom kept on going and couldn't be fixed. We mentioned it when we left. The breakfast was very nice, especially the venison sausage. We thougt the landlady was a nice person but at breakfast she kept on talking about her son and so, it wasn't our cup of tea.
Because of the GBP 105 they charged I think a 3 star rating is enough.
