We had a ball here Brian and liona were the perfect hosts 
Rooms we very clean 
Beds were comfortable 
Breakfast was a treat nothing was a hassle for Brian 
They have only taken over the balmoral not so long I hope they get the business they deserve 
Thanks for a wonderful weekend go and find out for yourselves and give someone who’s starting off a push

Great time

We stay here once a year for the nearby Fiddlers Green festival in Rostrevor. In the past we had no issues at all. Sadly this was no longer the case. We booked in advance and discovered the hotel is ‘under new management’ upon arrival. After speaking to both local residents and family in the area we were told the Bal has gone backwards. However, we kept an open mind but soon realised why. Our room was in desperate need of repair (broken window handle, blocked sink, lights not working). You no longer eat breakfast upstairs, now downstairs. Menus are not provided. The quality of food / service at breakfast was terrible. Our room wasn’t cleaned for the entire stay! Majority of staff simply couldn’t care less. Sad really as this used to be great.

Awful food and terrible service.
Food was cold and was also full of drunks from an event.
When warm food came it was still terrible
Worst place I've visited in Northern Ireland and we have toured all over.
Will never be back.

Ella holy communion. What can I say about the staff and Food in Balmoral. It was first class the where really good with service and especially Katie. Who can in on her day off. Thanks for such an enjoyable day one we will never forget

Used to go here regular but not any more. Changed chef. Food quality poor. No apologies for uneaten food. Even charged us.? Pity. Lovely restaurant with beautiful views of sea. Some staff good but feel it's just gone downhill
