Fern Cottage is an ideal accommodation for solo or double. 

Well looked after , clean and relaxing, great location but obviously hilly . Excellent walks to Valley Of The Rocks and Lynmouth both reached within a steady but strenuous 20 mins from the cottage .  Tough going on the hills but worth the effort .

Fern Cottsge Lynton 

We stayed at Sea Breeze Lynmouth for 3 nights 3-6 March 2023. Wonderful apartment in a lovely location right on the harbourside. The apartment had everything you could need whatever length of stay. Nice coffee shop below accommodation & just around corner from the Funicular railway to Lynton a great experience.

Sea Breeze. A great apartment.

A wonderful apartment in a fabulpous location. Seabreeze was well appointed and very comfortable. A cozy warm place to watch sea and harbour life.I highly recommend a visit. If you are not keen on walking avoid the period when the funicular between Lynton and Lynmouth is closed for maintenance (Dec to Feb) However the zig zag path between the 2 has fabulous views and justifies a visit to a pub at the top.

Comfortable, cosy, great location, everything you could need for a short stay. The ad mentions private parking, there isn't any. It was out of season and therefore not a problem but would be different in season.Other than that, fabulous. Would definitely go back.

Excellent stay

We stayed in 'Pebbles', an apartment on the ground floor. Clean, warm, quiet, thoroughly enjoyed it. 
I don't normally take too much notice of the decor at self-catering places, but it was a lovely room!
Kitchen had all the basic stuff needed for the simple meals we make when on holiday.
Car park is on a slope, so you need to be a tad careful getting out of the downhill car door if you see what I mean.
We stayed there as a base for doing the coastal path between Bideford and Porlock, it worked very well for that.

Lovely base to explore the area

We stayed in Pebbles apartment in this listed house. It has modern decor, was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The dining table looks over the garden & to the distant hills and you can also see the rare breed hens when they appear (and eat their eggs for breakfast!). There is also a table outside the apartment where you get a great view of the sea.
You also have a lovely view of Lynton from the bed which looked attractive in the autumn morning light. There is a steep climb from the parking space upto the house through beautiful gardens. We found 2 good restaurants, The Vanilla Pod & The Oak Room & on the other days we ate in. We met the friendly owners whilst walking through the grounds. It's a really good walking area & I would thoroughly recomend this place.

Lovely place to stay

We spent a lovely week in this lovely accommodation, We have visited Lynton and Lynmouth before but never stayed here and we thoroughly enjoyed it.  We stayed in Driftwood apartment which was s-o cosy and has absolutely everything you need!. On our arrival there was fresh milk,tea,coffee and biscuits and beautiful flowers. The sea view from the bedroom window is just lovely to wake up to and to enjoy fresh eggs which we purchased most days from Debbie and Michael's chickens was great - we even took some home with us! All in all we had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Thank you again Michael and Debbie :)

Wonderful relaxing stay in this lovely cosy apartment!

My wife and I have just returned from a week staying at the Lyn Holiday Apartments. We were in "Seascape". 

The apartment overall is very nice and was very clean. It's in an old house so expect floors to creak and be a little un-level in places. The decor is very nice and classy and being able to sit by the window and eat breakfast together was lovely. The views were very nice. 

The small kitchen has almost all the things you would need for the week. No scissors though so bring your own. 

The bed is HUGE and really comfy. We both slept very well during our stay. 

We met one of the owners who was very friendly and stopped to make sure we had everything. 

There are some things I would like to point out. These are not criticisms but things I think people may like to be aware of. They may not apply to many. 

1) The building is located at the top of a very steep path, the owners have said they are going to address this but be warned if you are unfit. 

2) The FREE Wifi is very flakey and hit and miss. This may only be in our apartment and may not bother most people but I needed it for work. It does work but is flakey. 

3) The mobile phone coverage is little to none on the o2 & EE networks. Again may not bother people and may well be all over Lynton. Nothing to do with the property obviously just worth noting. 

4) The shower is really small and could probably do with replacing. It's perfectly functioning and clean but almost impossible for a 6 foot guy to bend over in. No bath. 

5) The sink in the bathroom had a horrible smell and made the room smell nasty. Prob just needs a good clean. 

6) The apartment seemed to get very cold in the evening but fear not they provide a lovely little heater which we turned on for 10 minutes and the place got toasty. 

Overall we had a really nice stay and would return if we wanted to stay in Lynton again. Thanks for having us.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful town.

Once again I have returned to Lyn Holiday Apartments for yet another wonderful break to recharge the batteries and relax. The Beachglass apartment has wonderful views and I loved sitting in the window watching the sun set over Countisbury Hill and watching the happy chickens in the morning in their own part of the terraced garden. No wonder the eggs we purchased were delicious!  

The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained and a lot of thought has been given to providing everything you need for a break. Michael and Debbie are very welcoming and friendly but they happily leave you to enjoy your holiday and are there to help if you need advice.

We were shown Fern Cottage by Michael and Debbie (which has been completed since our last visit) and it has been  finished beautifully to a very high standard. Would definitely recommend.

So thank you again for a lovely holiday.  We were very sad to leave but will return!
