Lovely rooms comfortable beds nice space in the room with lovely bathrooms and showers aswell. Most rooms are the same all homely feeling in them. Close to the city centre aswell short bus or walk away. Police station near by local pub around the corner.

It may not be a 5 star hotel but I would give Tennyson 5 stars for the way guests needs are catered for. Entry was simple and effective thru key safe. the room was clean comfortable and warm - I returned from a meal at the local Wetherspoons (brilliantly converted cinema covered in lights!) to find the heating had come on and the room was warm as toast. Breakfast items were in the room with access to a kitchen kitted out with microwave, toaster etc. The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a decent size shower you could move in. For a handy overnight stop it was perfect and very reasonable. Woke up the next morning fully refreshed to be greeted by the first snowfall of the year.....Full marks Tennyson, keep up the good work.

Stayed here for 1 night and found it to be perfect for our stay. For what we paid it was definitely value for money. It’s in a great location. Walkable into Lincoln city centre or like a £5 Uber to the top end. The room was nice and spacious with a lovely modern bathroom. The bed was also comfy. It was nice and quiet which suited us. Breakfast was a bit strange, but a nice small addition. Few slices of bread, couple of small cereal boxes, jam, water, milk etc. Didn’t really use the common areas but they looked nice and we would have used them if we had more time. There is limited parking and the car park is tight but it’s fine. We asked if we could check in about 30 mins early and we received a quick response that it wouldn’t be a problem. Messages were responded to quickly and professionally, great service. The directions on how to get the key and find the room were also spot on. We didn’t have any issues it worked great. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Lincoln. Thanks!

Working away from home.  Convenient to travel to work and town centre.

Loved this place. Not 5 star posh but 5 star different in a good way. Self check in easy peasy and room was just like being a home but tidier! Nice little breakfast bits in room and a lovely kitchen downstairs to use. Excellent price for a good night's sleep. Road was a little noisy but I use earplugs so no worries for me there anyway. Would recommend for a night or 2.

Clean spacious and incredible value for money

The room was excellent. Only down side was the breakfast wasnt very good. But the property was a very good standard

Perfect last minute trip to visit family,ideally priced and perfect location.

Overall, an enjoyable ovenight stay. Room very clean as was the en suite facility. Bed comfortable too. Good to have access to an electric fan and room fridge too. Slightly disappointed with the continental breakfast. Was expecting danish pastfies not breaf and jam. Parking for drivers new to Lincoln could be explained in a little more detail Would certainly stay again if in Lincoln.

Perfect stay, very cozy, clean and would definitely recommend. Very nice facilities, couldn’t fault on the location and convenient parking and very close to the town centre. Hosts were easily available to contact and very accommodating.
