My girlfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had a brilliant stay . We were greeted warmly on arrival and the staff for the stay couldn’t have been more helpful in telling us the best places to go etc etc  . The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is ideal - located close to the idyllic Queens University campus . Will be back for sure 👌

A group of us went here for a christmas party, what a disappointment, food was worse than awful dj was very poor staff were pleasant enough although seemed very unorganised, all in all what a waste of 30 pounds. would not go again.
If it hadn't been for it being a night out i would have left.

christmas party

a group of us were here last night for a works Christmas party.  the function room was poorly dressed , the meal was shocking, did not bear resemblance to the advertised festive party menu. the bread served with the pate, rustic bread, was just small chunk of white bread. the horseradish sauce had scalloped away, was missing from the plate, the potatoes  were tiny chunks , not roasts. the vegetables  were frozen, overcooked, soggy and just about lukewarm, the Yorkshire pudding  was also soggy and resembled a well known frozen brand. the vegetarian option could not be identified , not at all as on the menu, seemed to be burnt breadcrumbs with tomato puree.  I might have enjoyed the Christmas pudding  if I could have found it in the dish, portion minuscule.  the cheesecake apparently  was awful,? cheap frozen product. our party organiser had brought party photo props which when used were the highlight of our night.  very poor  value for money, all done on the cheap.tip for anyone still to for Xmas party, eat before you go, as will be left hungry.  And  gin and tonic served in a wine glass!!!!

Christmas party

Went for a wedding and stayed over in one of the six rooms. Wedding was really good, DJ was fantastic, staff were very nice, room was clean and breakfast was awesome. Only one little niggle, does need updating a bit. Could be a contender for my wedding venue.

If there’s any piece of advice anyone could give you then please read on. Upon approach to this Hotel something felt quite strange, as I drove around the huge car park which totally encircle this building I realised that the whole car park was empty save one little vehicle parked in one of the many corners this car park had to offer. When I open the entrance door I was greeted by the receptionist, little did I know he was the cleaner, scrap dealer, dead horse and donkey dealer. When I was shown to my room my first impressions was basic but it would do. Has you do I started to look around the room opened the wardrobe door and it fell off in my hand that set alarm bells ringing. I laid on this cheap looking double bed and I rolled into the middle of a crater that had formed over many years. Has I laid there and scanned the room now feeling quite low I noticed these long cheap and nasty looking curtains shouting to me come on try me out, I obliged, guess what yes you’ve got it they were held up with four hooks great lots of light in my bedroom.Bathroom great a jacuzzi wow things were starting to pick up then there it was like everything else in this place it did work. In fact the five days there was spent on my own, totally weird a big building with no one home. I guess on the positive side you got your own personal lift, car park and hotel! Let’s not go there with breakfast. I give it one marked because I was allowed to leave at the end of my stay, out into that big world of people , this was one strange experience that I’m not in a rush to repeat.
