I booked a suprise night away for my daughters birthday and we had an amazing time. What a fabulous place.  Staff lovely and helpful, lodge clean and very well equipped. A fantastic welcome pack and gift for my daughters birthday. Only downside was we only booked 1 night, wish we'd booked for longer. I will definitely book again. Thank you for helping make a lovely memory for us. 

Simply fabulous

We have just come back from a superb break in the Yew lodge. It’s our 4th stay at Flowery dell, and again it didn’t disappoint ! Lodge was  superbly set out, clean and comfortable. Lots of little touches here and there that just makes it more special. The sun room was a great addition. The staff are superb, and always make booking/arrival/departure process simple and efficient. The dogs absolutely love it here and simply relax as soon as they arrive. As for us adults….a lovely hot tub in the evening whilst it’s freezing/clear night sky…pretty much perfect!! See you all again soon

Pretty much perfect…..Again!!!

This was recommended to us by family. Just what we needed , peace and quiet in the gateway to the Dales. Booking was easy and we were welcomed by Sandy in reception with a warm smile. She gave clear instructions to our lodge , Holly. This two storey lodge was beautifully equipped and left us with nothing but a warm feeling. It just felt like home. There was a lovely welcome pack of tea coffee, milk, sugar, hot chocolate and marshmallows and biscuits. I had mentioned the break was a treat for our anniversary and there was a bottle of wine and chocolates. What a lovely touch. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal if you so wish and had dishwasher and washer dryer for your convenience. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath and loads of towels. 
The bed was super comfy and the feather duvets so cosy. 
The hot tub a real luxury which we used every day and this is checked early each morning for hygiene levels/ quality . This is done from outside and is unobtrusive so not disturbed. There is everything in the under stairs cupboard to keep the lodge clean and even a good stock of games for the family. The views of trees and squirrels and rabbits just lovely and will definitely be returning again soon I hope. 
You need to be quite strong and agile to raise the hot tub lid , although we soon got the hang of it. Enjoy, book soon.

A real treat for the week

Our third visit to Flowery Dell and we're already planning the next one! We stayed in Ash Lodge for the second time and it was brilliant again, had everything we needed and was lovely and clean as always. The hot tub is brilliant too and the main thing we look forward to every trip! Love how dog friendly the lodge and the whole area is meaning our two dogs always have a great time too! Thank you for another special trip xx 

Another Perfect Stay!

Spent 3 nights at Flowery Dell Lodges with husband, 16 yr old son and our dog.  What a lovely place.  The lodge was well equipped, clean and comfortable.  We really enjoyed the hot tub and the welcome bag was a lovely touch.

Enjoyable and relaxing stay

My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful two nights here from 13th - 15th February for valentines, after spending last Valentine’s Day sat out in the cold working at a Covid test site it was very much needed! 

Upon arrival I was greeted by lovely Sandy who instantly makes you feel welcome and at home, checking in takes literally 2 minutes to sign a form and collect your keys. 

The cabin (Mulberry Lodge) has such a wow factor when you step in for the first time, it is really a tardis! Beautiful and absolutely everything is extremely clean, it’s hard to believe anyone has stayed there prior to you it’s that clean! We had a bottle of Prosecco, mini Yorkshire hamper and chocolate hearts and rose petals on the bed waiting for us when we arrived and I am just such a sucker for those sweet details! Another lovely detail was all of the cleaning products that were provided such as washing machine pods, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, hand wash, hand sanitizer, disinfectant etc. were all eco friendly. 💚 You are also provided with a booklet of everything you could possibly need e.g. emergency dentist and doctor and instructions on how to use everything in the cabin. There are also magazine’s in the cabin with local walks and things to do in the area. The bed was very comfy and the cabin was constantly warm and cozy. The hot tub was great as you could control the temperature, jets and lights. I have previously stayed at a lodge that included a private hot tub however the hot tub temperature was at a set temp far too hot making it unenjoyable, so being able to adjust this was great! The decking where the hot tub, bbq and table are is under cover so even if it rains you can still use this outside space, it is even lit up with cute fairy lights! The hot tub also gets checked and tested twice a day which takes 2 seconds and shows how much is put into the care and upkeep of the cabins. 

When we sadly had to leave checkout was just popping into reception to hand in the keys and I had unfortunately (or should I say my boyfriend🙄) had left a bag of medication in the room. The attempts that were made to contact me about this literally 5 minutes after leaving were above and beyond as I know a lot of places would have just thrown this away without attempting to let the customer know. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the customers and the quality of their stay and for all these reasons we cannot wait to book our next mini break! 

Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing! My only negative would be that we had to leave!

Beautiful & relaxing

We have just returned from 7 nights staying in Maple.  I think this must be our 6th visit to Flowery Dell but the first since Covid.  We needed  peace and tranquillity and that is what we got.  Our lodge was beautifully clean and tidy.  I have no worry about the hot tubs here as they are carefully looked after and emptied after each guest.  It really is a home from home - I can’t think of anything that isn’t  provided.  This is fantastic family business which strives to keep their guests happy and safe.  I cannot recommend  this place enough.  😊

A peaceful place to escape the world 

Absolutely amazing setting and beautiful lodge. (We stayed in Honeysuckle). The bed was so comfortable and huge! Everything was absolutely perfect. A little piece of heaven for a few days to unwind. The hot tub and log fire really made it special, and thank you so much for the thoughtful hamper! This is the best place we have ever stayed and we will be back. We will tell all our family and friends to come here too. Thank you again, we didn’t want to leave! 

Amazing!

We stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage with our dog for 2 nights. I was so impressed with everything. The facilities were excellent,  especially the hot tub. The bed was super comfy.  
The lady in the reception lodge(I am sorry I didn't get your name) was really helpful. She gave us directions for a nice walk with our dog. Richmond itself was a wonderful place.
Honestly I could have easily stayed for the week and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much. 

Excellent Place

As usual a wonderful stay at flowery dell the staff are so friendly and welcoming any problems are sorted out immediately we go every year for our anniversary and we are always greeted with a bottle of wine we even got a hamper this year as an added bonus the lodge’s are so comfortable and clean very luxurious the hot tub is out of this world there’s so much to do Richmond town centre is beautiful and it’s only a short drive to York would recommend these lodges to anyone that wants a peaceful relaxing stay 10/10
