Liked · The room and en-suite were both exceptionally clean and tidy. Check in process was very easy, due to self-check in. The amenities provided were excellent; tea and coffee, hand wash and shower gel, a suitable number of towels and toilet rolls, a large smart TV, a fan for warm weather and a heater for cold weather. The location of this property is excellent, roughly a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of Brighton; we felt very safe whilst staying here. Value for money at this property is excellent! I would highly recommend this property and would 100% stay again!

Disliked  · Parking permits at £10/day were falsely advertised on the booking.com website but were not possible during the time of our stay. We were only informed this after booking, which wasn't ideal. However, when challenged, the management team quickly pointed me to a nearby car-parking space that was available to book through INNIT rooms near the property at a higher price. The only slight complaint about the room itself was that it was exceptionally hot for the weather at the time, which may have been because our room was on the 3rd floor. A fan was provided which was very much needed during our stay! Although free WIFI was advertised, the connection was poor but this wasn't a big issue as we were out exploring for most of our stay!

An excellent place to stay for a trip to Brighton!

Over priced and room bit shabby. Save your money. Go for travel lodge/premier inn. Cleaner. Bed very uncomfortable and cheap. Staff did their best. Cashing like in all the others. Bed and breakfast in Brighton now non existent. All rather sad

Over priced and cynical

Stayed here twice now and after staying at various hotels and guest houses in 
Brighton; this is one of my favourites. Its very hard to get outside space in Brighton hotels for a reasonable price for obvious reasons  but this lovely place has a couple of them.The owner can't do enough to accommodate you and no question is too small to ask.Excellant customer service.
Love the whole ombiance of the guest house.Excellant housekeeping if you need it...location is spot on.
Definitely stay here again..



Excellent taste

Lovely hotel, clean ,modern and staff lovely and helpful. In a great location in Kemp Town. Second time of staying. Can't wait to return. Room 4 at the front has views to the left of the sea. Breakfast not included but cafe at the end of the road - 6 doors up and another a road over.

Fab hotel

This hotel was lovely when it was run by a French guy named Telly and his wife. However the business has changed hands and is now very basic.
We stayed in ground floor Room 1 with a scruffy patio with ancient faded plastic flowers. 
Horrendous noise from floor above - we had been a bit puzzled earlier when we saw that ear plugs had been provided by the hotel!
Condensation damp to the bathroom as there is no mechanical fan or passive ventilation. This will get even worse as we enter the colder winter months.
Very disappointing

Very disappointing visit

Our room was nice however the bed was very small and soft and it didn’t give us a good sleep . There wasn’t any maid towel service . There is not breakfast as advertised . There isint anyone on reception. You are given a door code to enter . It was however a pleasant quiet hotel but I think a rating of 3 stars must be the maximum. I don’t think it was value for money .

Hotel without breakfast

Everything about the brighton marina was 5 star, the hosts and staff were so friendly and helpful💖...we were greeted by Ella on our arrival who couldn't have been nicer, so welcoming and friendly 😊 the room was absolutely spotless, the bed was super comfortable and huge. The room had a lovely side view of the sea...beautiful high ceiling with Victorian coving and features. Even tho it is self check in and no typical hotel reception, we still felt extremely well looked after, all the staff couldn't have been more helpful and were literally a phone call/email or message away. It is very clear the heart and passion that is put into running the hotel, We were not disappointed🥰. We are both vegan and Ella provided us with a list of great places to eat in and takeaway, we got deliveroo straight to the front door of the hotel couple times which was lovely and very prompt friendly service 🧡
The comnunal kitchen has modern appliances with coffee/ teas and a lovely area to sit in. It is literally 2 mins to the sea front, brighton is a fantastic city to visit, full of diversity,vegan friendly options, fantastic charity shops and many other great things.We will definitely be back and will be staying in the brighton marina. Thank you for making our stay so memorable 🥰

Exceptional 😊

The room shown in the photograph could have been the room we stayed in.  Small but comfortable with an immaculately presented bathroom.  Warm room with one of the best mattresses we have shared.  An explanation indicated that full housekeeping was not necessarily available on a daily basis.  However, specific requests would be prioritised.  a response to Covid staff shortages.  True to their word, bins were emptied and tea and coffee making sachets were replaced on request.  We were impressed.  A coffee machine serving decent coffee was in full working order in the dining room.  The room was unavailable for its intended purpose, again a pandemic casualty.  However, the Post and Telegraph served a reasonably priced and decently proportioned breakfast a mere 15 minutes walk away.

GREAT VALUE WITH UPFRONT DETAILS OF INSIGNIFICANT SHORTCOMINGS

I stayed in Marina House Hotel for the last week in January 2022. Glowing reviews are out of date, as day mentioned staff. There are no staff, no even reception at any time. You are given an entrance code by text message. The room was modest size and clean. Coffee and tea facilities are available, however there isn't milk, rendering it useless. Considered buying my own milk, but no room fridge. There's however a communal fridge for all guests. There isn't chambermaid, regardless how long I was there. The hotel claims serving breakfast, there isn't breakfast available at all. This wasn't known to me until after booking. It's clearly advertised as B&B. This is false advertising. As for many hotels in this area, no parking whatsoever. For conclusion, if you are going to Brighton, pick another hotel. 
Considering no staff, no services, no existant breakfast advertised, it's only a nice room, perhaps up market hostel is more appropriate name than hotel.

Business in Brighton!

A refreshing new way of B&B’s. Easy to book, and easy to find. It has everything you need with attention to detail. The facilities are modern, fresh and clean. I would visit again. 

Only advice is, I would do your research on parking before you arrive.
