Nice and clean in a quiet area. Lot of privacy with free netflux and prime.... a bonus.Highly recommend with good bus transport within walking distance and only 3 stops by train to brighton.Good place for a quiet peaceful stay.

It was very nice and served it's purpose well. Maybe it was my fault, but i could not get the shower to work. Besides that, everything was lovely.

Very clean room and comfortable bed. Clear arrival instructions. Good wifi signal. Short walk from Portslade station and easy bus ride into Brighton.

Great place to stay

Spacious, airy room and nice bed and pillows. Good service- cleaned every day.Room very bare- needs more storage and brightening up. It would have been nice to have tea on the hospitality tray and access to an ironing board and iron. Very close to Portslade Station and bus routes. It was basic, but served a purpose.

Portslade, not Hove

Booked and had confirmation to stay over Pride weekend. ONE week prior they sent an email saying I’d made a date amendment which I had not and that they could not accommodate my booking. 
Showed them my confirmation and said I’d not made any change and they said they’ve over booked and are cancelling my booking. 
But it’s okay, they’ll give me 50% off next time. 
It’s Pride weekend so we are now completely stuck. Terrible experience

Do not trust

Lovely staff who were very friendly, communicative and helpful. Unfortunately I was charged a pre authorisation fee and the full amount was taken out before, even after choosing the option to pay at the hotel upon arrival, with me still having to pay when I had got there. However this was not the hotels fault and I have raised this issue with them. Otherwise the experience at the hotel was good, the room was spot on. Many thanks

Would definitely stay here again

Rung ahead to inform them we would be arriving early. Not a problem as room will be ready. Arrived at 2pm & told no check ins before 3pm, so sent to the local pub for an hour. All very friendly when we went back & paid for the room. Then the customer service was zero. TV was not working or tuned in. Owner failed to respond to any messages about this, so we had to go out to watch the football that we planned to watch in the room. There was a list of RULES on the wall that filled 4 A4 sheets proving the point that the business was more about the owners convenience than the guests.
Despite this, the room was clean, tidy & the bathroom was superb. The owner just needs to learn about customer service.

Take the money, then you are on your own.

It was okay, but very far from all the places that is good to enjoy. It is just really a place to sleep in and take a bath thats it nothing special.

Mheee its okay

Generally quite nice, but two very specific complaints. First, the bed was not good. Second, the shower was far too on the first night cold, than far too hot on the second! But clean, well-presented, suitable temperature and free wifi. At this price, don't expect miracles.
