Where to start! Just left LochView after a wonderful 4 night stay. Pen, Micha and Otto the cat, were very welcoming and couldn't do enough, to make sure our stay was perfect. 

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. It was so quiet there and the views were something else. 

Breakfast was lovely and we will miss not having haggis every day! We also brought back a takeaway and Micha kindly left us some plates and cutlery and we enjoyed this overlooking the beautiful Loch Linnhe. 

Fort William is about a 10 minute walk down the hill, however the walk back up takes a bit longer.......!! A taxi from town cost us about £5.

Plenty of parking available at LochView. 

We will definitely be back - thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely stay at LochView

The Lochview House has very helpful, personable owners. They provide a marvelous breakfast. They also have clean rooms with terrific views overlooking Loch Linnhe. The guest lounge is also well appointed. Because of its location at the top of a hill, the house is especially quiet at night.

A great B&B with a great view

Fabulous stay in this lovely guest house with warm and welcoming hosts. Suite was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was tasty and fresh.  Plenty of choice on offer with lovely fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals to start. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely stay

Cannot recommend highly enough this lovely guest house, set up on the hill overlooking Loch Linnhe. We stayed in the Linnhe suite, and the views out of the big windows were really breathtaking. 
I was really impressed by all the thoughtful details which showed that someone had really considered what makes a good stay: fresh milk for tea in our room, a snug set up with lots of books about the local area, delicious breakfasts (and the option for an early packed-up breakfast to take with you on a walk), a Tunnock's tea cake each set out on our second day! The jewel in the crown is definitely the breakfast room, with amazing views and light. 
Our hosts were really friendly and very well informed about the local area too.
Lochview House is only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Fort William (although the way there takes longer if you need to catch your breath on the steep hill!) and we happily walked in and out of town for meals, for a boat trip on the Loch, and more. We arrived by the sleeper train and were able to check in early with our luggage which was really helpful. 
We would love to come back. 

Cosy, welcoming and thoughtful

A wonderful place to stay. We had a very spacious room with large TV and lounge area. The view from the room was wonderful! 
The whole place is spotlessly clean, warm and every little detail has been thought of- Pen and Micha are wonderful hosts.
It has all the facilities for outdoor folk- great drying room, maps and guides plus the owners have great local knowledge.
Breakfast is wonderful and served in an amazing sun room with the wonderful loch view. 
There’s also a cosy snug lounge so you don’t need to stay in your room if you are having a night in.
A few minute’s walk into town gives a wonderful choice of places to eat for dinner or if you order a take away the owners will set a table for you. 
As a base for the area- ending the WHW, climbing on Ben Nevis, the steam train to Malaig, mountain biking and ski centre and night life in Fort William - it’s a great place to be.
We will be back!

Do B&Bs get any better than this?

Lochview House is the most delightful place to stay with the most delightful host and hostess.
Our room was very comfortable with a nice view, the dining room again has beautiful views and there is a separate sitting room and a lovely balcony to sit and eat.
They also provide a guest fridge with fresh milk and tags to mark your own goods (wine bottle !). Very thoughtful.
A packed lunch was also provided as we did a day train trip again the only place we stayed that offered us an extra meal.

I would highly recommend Lochview House as a place to stay. Thank you.


A delightful place to stay.

We stayed in Lochview Guest House for 2 nights. Can only say, outstanding! Beautiful and very clean Guest House with a lot of small but very effective and thoughtful details. The rooms are comfortable with an impressive view and modern bathrooms. Their breakfast is excellent with a perfect mix with varieties for everyone. The two hosts, Pen and Misha, are taking care of their guests, which makes it obvious that they are doing this passion.
All in all, perfect stay with best in class customer service. Would always go back there and can only recommend a stay!

Misha and Pen are welcoming hosts serving an excellent breakfast in their conservatory with its stunning views. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped.we stayed in the Nevis Suite which we would highly recommend.

Don’t miss this place! Lochview is a delightful place to stay whether for a night or a few days along the Highland Coast of Scotland. The dining room is superb and looks straight into the ocean where the surf breaks upon the shoreline. Strongly recommended!

Loved it. Everything about it. The view, the peace and quiet, the unobtrusive attention. The delicious breakfasts - try and vary every day, all yummy!-
Immaculate, relentless work behind the scene to fulfill each and every unique requirement.

I asked for the Moon. She tried, but it was cloudy. 😞
I looked up in the dark Highland October sky and Cassiopeia was watching me.
