I have returned to Camelot Guest House and, again, was very happy with my stay. Vanessa made us feel at home, helped us organize a luggage problem, found a private car to get us to Truro (during train strike) and arranged for an additional night at short notice. 

A perfect B&B at a reasonable price run by a lovely host and staff.

Small but impressive, we went to Falmouth for the Tall ships and chose Camalot for its location to the town and docks. When we entered the guest house we were instantly aware of the quality of everything around it felt like a top quality hotel. The room was very clean,comfortable and comprised of top-quality furnishing and bedding, as past hoteliers we  recognise the high standard of this guest house and the service. Highly recommended. 

Small but delightful

We had a lovely  weekend stay here for the shanty festival. Vanessa & Richard are lovely hosts. We stayed in room 1 which was lovely, spacious,comfortable & clean. There was even some wine glasses provided along with a mini fridge to chill some wine if you wanted to. The breakfast was lovely. It's only a very short walk into the town centre but is still very quiet. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. 

What a gem!! Would highly recommend.

This was a lovely, quiet, and restful oasis in Falmouth. Our host, Vanessa, was so gracious and friendly and did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfasts were simple but delicious, and the friendly atmosphere among guests was very nice. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Large windows brought in lovely sunshine, and the convenience of a small fridge for storing drinks and the bottle of fresh milk Vanessa kindly provided for our morning tea was much appreciated. The location was superb, very close to the train station, a 5-10 minute walk to the city centre, and a short downhill walk to the wonderful Gyllingvase Beach. Highly recommend!

Gracious welcoming stay!

Lovely, quiet guest house in Falmouth. Light, lovely and comfortable rooms, with crisp linens. Closet and dresser. Well-stocked bathroom. Many outlets. Coffee/tea provided. Many breakfast options, including mixed fruit and cooked eggs. Mini-frig in room. Close to town, for walking or easy taxi ride. Recommendations and reservations made by gracious host.

Lovely accommodations in Falmouth, Cornwall

Wonderful stay here recently. Would highly reccomend it. Nice atonphere, nice staff, love decor and rooms are nice size. Lovely location and nice locals. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful

Such comfort at Camelot, nothing is too much trouble.  Vanessa is a wonderful hostess along with her charming husband Richard and the lovely Will serving breakfast.  Really comfortable beds and en-suite rooms and a great choice for breakfast.  In a great location for the beach and the town we cannot recommend this gem too highly.

Fabulous weekend getaway

I recently stayed at Camelot Guest House as a solo traveller. Owner Vanessa and her team were welcoming, friendly and efficient. My large single en-suite room was very clean, the bed was most comfortable and the bedding exceptionally clean and fresh. The en-suite bathroom was also very clean. The cooked breakfast was delicious – I shall miss it! The Camelot is ideally situated just a few minutes from the beach, local sightseeing and shops, and Falmouth Town train station is just along the road - very useful for trips to Truro or on to St Ives. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe here and if I'm ever in Falmouth, I'll stay at the Camelot again. Highly recommended!

A real gem!

Decided to stay at Camelot instead of the usual choice of hotels. Having read the other reviews I knew I was in for a treat but the stay actually surpassed my expectations. Vanessa is a genuinely lovely host as is her daughter. The breakfast was how it should be: fresh and of extremely high quality. No faff, just damn good food that would put many "superior" hotels' offerings to shame. The entire establishment is spotless. The rooms are impeccably laid out and furnished. Crisp white sheets await you every evening, as do fluffy, soft towels. The mattress was sublime. My only suggestion for my next stay would be to have conditioner provided as I have long, tangly hair. However, I have a feeling that if I had mentioned this to Vanessa she would have probably produced a bottle for me.

Top Notch

When we arrived we got the best welcome you could have asked for, such a lovely lady who owns the house, she showed us our rooms and made us feel at home, at breakfast the staff go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble if you’re ever stuck on things to do because of the weather there is plenty leaflets with things to do or at breakfast staff and owner are happy to suggest places. Comfiest rooms with plenty space. Beach is about a 3 minute walk and town centre is about a 10 minute walk. we will definitely be returning
