Never been to Hayling Island before,  so it was a nice surprise. Really nice site, loved the hot tub! The staff friendly,  great that we could take the dog. We didn't eat there,  as it was so quiet, but a few of nice pubs nearby, and lidls just up the Rd. Heads up, if coming in school time, the picking up time can be a bit busy, as cars park up the lane to site. The walk on the site to harbour is worth it, especially with a dog, I did managed it with my mobility scooter! The lookout point is beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

Clean, comfortable and modern accommodation. 
Park clean but very featureless. Bar / restaurant pleasant but expensive for drinks and basic pub meals. Swimming pool small and crowded.
No shop on site.
Would not bother going back.


Expensive caravan park, disappointing. No views of the coast as expected. 

Stayed here over Christmas.   We travelled with my sister and family and we had a dog friendly caravan.  Although the booking was a joint booking our units were not next to each other but still in the same row. We were really pleased with our caravan. It was clean, tidy and modern, obviously quite new.  The bedrooms are quite small which was not a problem as we are not big but might be for larger guests. The only thing we found was that there was not a lot of storage for clothes especially in the double room. The single wardrobe had a spare duvet and extra sheets stored inside which i guess is for the sofa bed but left us with hardly any where to put clothes.  there were 
no drawers so the clothes remained in a suitcase! Having said that we loved our unit. It did remain warm after working out how to keep the heating on although the radiators didn't get hot. There was a doggy welcome pack on arrival which was a nice touch. There was some entertainment in the Green Room which was Bingo, Racing games, Quiz and a magic show, but only for the couple of days before Christmas and not Christmas Day or Boxing Day which was fine for us. The young man running the events really did work hard, a big round of applause from us... There is no onsite shop but Lidl is just a 10 - 15 minute walk from the main gate. It is set in a really lovely spot with nice doggy walks and i would think its lovely in the summer right next to Chichester Harbour.  We would come back again.  Forgot to say that most units have balconies and safety gates and ample parking.

Christmas 2023

Another great pre Christmas break at Mill Rythe. Good to see there was entertainment this time. Went to the quiz in the Missing Squirrel with Jade, which was fun - made even better by winning. Caravan was spacious with everything we needed. It was so relaxing in the peace and tranquility. Hot tub was fab. Sad to see that there was no goody bag for the dog this time, that was always a lovely touch. Can’t wait to return, love how we can relax and unwind here for a few days.

Pre Christmas Break

Lovely holiday park, clean and caravan was clean and well equipped, they kindly also let us check in early.
The swimming pool was really clean and a nice temperature and the sessions were well run. 
Only thing that lets the park down is the prices in the missing squirrel,the drinks are very pricey didn’t try the food, also shut very early and you felt like they were rushing to get you out cleaning round you and putting chairs on tables ready to go, the leaflet said it would be open Sunday eve but shut at 6, the Stonehouse carvery a mile away is a lot more affordable to family meals and drinks. 
Also would say more lighting at night would be good as had to use a torch and some parts of park are very dark and so is road leading out of park I wouldn’t fancy walking that at night. 

Nice but bar pricey! 

This park has a lot of potential. To us it seems like they’ve got rid of all the old and are slowly replacing with brand new modern accommodation.
Check in was easy and the ladies were very happy and helpful at guest services. We were told that our accommodation was only 2 weeks old.
We stayed in a 2 bed indulgent van with a hot tub. The problem was the van was very cold and there was no instruction manual for the boiler.. we tried numerous things but could not get it to work so called someone to come and look at it. They got it working but it didn’t stay on for long and we ended up having to sleep in our clothes as it was so cold. The next morning we called someone again who came and looked at it and thankfully it started working.
We ate in the missing squirrel the first night. Service was very slow and the burger was cremated sadly after waiting nearly a hour to eat. The bar and restaurant are very modern but I just don’t think they had enough staff working. Although it’s off season the bar was quite busy and one waitress was not enough.
We used the hot tub both days and it was cleaned both days too which was nice. Would def recommend paying the extra to have this.
The other thing we would say is that it’s very dark and getting from the van to the bar was a bit hazardous we had to use or phone lights to see. One of our part actually fell over as it was so dark they didn’t see a step.
Overall I think this is going to be a lovely park but still work needs to be done to get it just right.

Mill Rythe is a hidden gem in Hayling!
The modern cocktail bar The Missing Squirrel is beautiful and the location of this park is lovely and so peaceful.
We had the most amazing weekend!
The accommodation was clean and cosy, hot tub a dream and every team member we met was so friendly and helpful!

Already booked to come back for The Music Weekender in July. 
Can’t wait!

Fabulous weekend with family & friends

Our weekend break was wonderful! The site is so fresh and modern with all of the amenities you need for a fab stay! We were greated by the friendliest team. Our accommodation was modern and spotless, with the hottub overlooking the water. Our food and cocktails at the missing squirrel were 5 star, along with the service from our waitress, Annie. I can't wait to go back! I would highly recommend a stay or even a night for dinner at Mill Rythe. 5 star all round! Thank you to the wonderful team for a fabulous stay! :) 

Amazing weekend break

Omg this place is amazing. The vans are nice,clean and cosy. Hot tub added bonus. Nice to lay back and relax in. The quiz was fun. And most of all the food was excellent. A wonderful stay and I will be back soon

The caravan was lovely although one of the bedroom doors couldn't be closed as the bed was too long.
Staff were amazing, and very friendly, and helpful.
My only real moan is the price of a beer in the bar. I think £6.90 is a rip off. I left after 1 and walked to the pub up the road.
Site was otherwise lovely.
