Comfortable room with all you could need. Helpful staff, especially Giulio who was kind and welcoming. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good too! Unlimited full English is some start to the day.  Held our luggage after our stay as well. :)

Pleasant and convenient hotel experience

I stayed three nights and enjoyed the cooked breakfasts very much.  I asked for a poached egg and was happy with the result 

A good experience

Very disappointed with the room, expected so much more. 
Stained curtains and carpet, the chair material was dirty as well. 
Bathroom scruffy, shower had little adjustment on it. 
Wouldn’t stay again.

Restaurant lacked a bar just bottled beers and drinks in a fridge unit, no atmosphere at all.

Tired and scruffy room.

We stayed recently for a hen party. We had four rooms booked, and staff were friendly when we arrived and held our bags as we were a little early for check in. When we did check in, we had the whole party with us (including those who weren't staying) and we were... merry... and yet we were still made to feel very welcome. Our room was clean and set up as a twin, as requested which was lovely. Upon returning back to the room for the night, the Bride had recieved a gift and a card congratulating her on the upcoming wedding from Nikki Richard and team. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. Would stay again.

Welcoming and Clean

Pulling the cover back when waking up in the morning i didn't want to see I had spent the night with bed bugs in my bed, we took pictures to show them & managed to trap 1 in a glass so they could see it, we reported it to reception who just said sorry we'll investigate, we waited a round 2 hours but nothing & still nothing, this was over a week ago now & I'm still waiting to hear back 

Bed bug's

Impossible to get anyone to answer any queries before the trip - no one would answer the phones despite calling every day for a week before the trip at different times. No one answered my email for days. 
No fridge in the room. 
The shower curtain was crusty and hard. 
There was mould on the bathroom ceiling. 

Over priced and unpleasant

Guilio said as the only one working both the desk and restaurant and was always very attentive and approachable, a real credit to your team.

Credit to Wing the chef as well for a beautifully cooked steak

A bit on the pricy side for what you get. But as a last minute booking it did the job. 

I checked in late (after 3pm) as a single/lone traveler. 
no one at the reception to welcome me (found this odd)  so had to use the self service.
Mould in the bottom right hand corner of the window. 
Hairs left in the bathroom and sink - 
Disappointed that there was a building site opposite and curtains didn’t not cover the entire window (could do with addressing) 
No seating area outside the main entrance had to sit on a wall.
The breakfast experience was not the best, I have stayed in a few premier inn hotels.. normally have everything explained but staff seemed to be preoccupied or busy with other jobs.. like clearing up at the spoons before customers had finished. 
I had to ask another customer where the coffee machine was. 
Overall it was a good stay but pricey, not great value for money. Not sure I would stay there again. 
 

Reasonable Stay

Premiers Standards have never lived up to their prices but it is becoming more and more like a MOTEL not a HOTEL. Having to ask the night before if you require room tidied, too few over-stressed staff. Staff (although well meaning and friendly) not well trained and no support in case of breakdowns, leaks, lifts,  queues etc. Cleaning is only basic, blocked plugholes, underbed and skirting boards dirty etc. shoddy furnishings, stained, tv remote poor. Shouldnt need to pay more in Premier Plus rooms for what is just Basic.
Then send lengthy survey email for non-personal feedback. - Why should the customer have to do your quality control for you and still pay exorbitant prices?
Only good thing is the location for travel/station etc


Becoming more a Motel Than a Hotel

Very average hotel stay . No welcome when checking in , waited hours for 3pm check in ( we had arrived on an early flight 9am  ) when asked if at all possible to get an early check in , it was met with a shrug and told to come back in 2 hours , which we did , after asking again if we could get into a room to rest , eventually we were allowed into a room at 2.30 pm ( half an hour before check in ) and charged £10 extra for this . Reluctantly paid , only to head up and key card didn’t work, came down to change card , by this time it was 2.50 pm , so got in 10 mins early . Little things like this need to be improved . You were not made to feel like a valued guest at all , plus we were staying for 6 nights , so spending a fair as mount on stay . Very limited staff the whole stay . Decent location, 10 min walk from town . Very handy for train & bus station
