Warm welcome with lots of helpful advice for the area. 
Comfortable nights stay local to everything you need after a long walk Pubs and chip shops. 
Some local walks straight from the door step. 
Would visit again

Just what we needed 

Brilliant stay . Staff amazing , especially the Welsh fella. Very friendly and informative . His passion for his job shines through.  Rooms very basic for 160 a night but for 5 sharing wasn't too bad. 
Very comfortable beds , breakfast good and drinks. Would definately return

Took a GCSE Geology group of 16 students.  Fantastic food was provided and the accommodation was excellent.  The dining room doubled us a classroom for us to use for our evening lesson and I will definitely be using this Youth Hostel again for future trips.

Perfect for a School Field Trip.

The hostel is in the picturesque village of Ingleton, the car park is awkward to get into, but is aimed at walkers. Facilities are good, the cooked breakfast is good. The dorm was basic, but usable and the bunk bed quite comfortable, some other guests must have been restless as there was a lot of movement during the night, with doors opening and closing.
All in All, a good experience. 

Impromptu weekend away

I stayed here for 3 weeks, and I have never felt more at home in a place that isn't. The staff are wonderful. They're are always up for a chat, and can help with anything you need. The outside area is also stunning, and great to sit out when it's not typical Yorkshire weather! I highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay

Excellent service and food. Would recommend staying. I experienced the time of my life. However, if you are planning to stay don't forget your body wash, shampoo, etc.
 as they do not provide it and the hostel is not located near any shops.

Excellent Hostel

Clean, warm and welcoming. Thanks to Paul for really looking after us on our cycling trip. He couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. Tremendous breakfast too with sausages from the Young But her of the Year! We will be back

From the moment we arrived our host Paul was happy to help.Secure lock up for our bikes accommodation nice and clean and a lovey warm shower.The breakfast was excellent and set us up for our return journey.Will be back again excellent hostel thanks again Paul.

Excellent Youth Hostel

Excellent stay. The hostel is ideally situated, both for the western parts of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lancashire coast. Ingleton village is lovely, and there is plenty to do in the village itself and the immediate area. The room we were in was spacious and comfortable. Nigel was the main warden on duty during the three nights that we stayed, and he was very friendly and very helpful. It was our second stay there, and we'll be back for another!

Hugely enjoyable return visit

Reception wasn't open when I arrived,  but there was suitable bike parking so I simply explored Ingleton for a couple of hours. 

When we checked in, we were able to store our bikes in the secure shed. 

The twin room we were booked into was sparsely furnished (easy to keep clean and not lose things!) spotless and comfortable. 

We were allocated a shower-room and WC to our room number to give guests 1-household facilities, and these were immaculate too. 

Paul and Nigel were friendly, helpful, and welcoming - even helping with a bike malfunction I'd been battling during the day and recommending places to stop along our Way of the Roses trip - Sending a Massive THANK YOU for a great stay!
