Welcoming and friendly hosts that were extra helpful if we needed anything. lovely clean room, the bed was super comfy, I had the best two nights sleep in ages. There was a plug in radiator in addition to the main heating and also a fan if needed. in the room was coffee and biscuits and in the bathroom they even supplied good quality toiletries. The breakfast was amazing, the only thing with the breakfast was that we ordered the night before, so the first night I ordered bacon, sausage, egg and tomato and unfortunately couldn't finish it all, so the following breakfast order I asked for bacon and egg because they also provide toast. in addition to the cooked breakfast was a well stocked offering of fruits, cereals, cereal bars and yogurts, lots of orange and apple juice. It is also situated closely to all amenities and has parking. This lovely guest house provides a lot for an excellent price. Thank you for a lovely stay and will recommend you to any of my friends wanting to visit Bridlington.

Lovely guest house and lovely hosts.

Stayed 3 nights  to celebrate our Anniversary and really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Lisa made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Prior to booking we spoke to Lisa who was able to answer any questions we had and so we booked direct with her and with complete confidence that The Bluebell was perfect for us. Breakfast was delicious  and inc cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, juice, toast and my husband also had the cooked breakfast which he said was delicious. The Bluebell is close to shops and a couple of minutes from seafront so is in a good location. Parking is available directly on drive or a permit is issued (no charge) across the road. Thank you to you both for making our stay with you so enjoyable and looking after us. We would definitely return.

"Lovely place to stay"

Had a great two night stay,was greeted by Lisa who is very friendly & made us very welcome,the room like the whole place was spotlessly clean,very comfortable bed so slept well,breakfast was beautiful with a good choice from cereals,yogurts & fresh fruit which was lovely and fresh,then the cooked options which was cooked to perfection & very tasty,we will definitely stay here again ,thank you again for a lovely stay.

Superb & welcoming and friendly and very helpful and pointed me in the direction of a lovely little pub i had not been to before, i arrived early on the Friday as i wanted all day in Bridlington and they allowed me to park my car in the available slot on the front which was gratefully accepted.

How clean was The Bluebell Guest House

Spotless, im not one for going and wiping my hand down the wall or skirting board or for that matter anywhere in the room or venue but it was spotless and clean all around, no fault from me.

How were the Facilities at The Bluebell Guest House

Everything was spot on, Kettle in the room lovely Power Shower, TV but i used my laptop to watch Sports on no worries, plenty of plug sockets in my room which is always a good tick in the box, plenty of clothing storage but i lived out my suitcase as i do when i go away.

Sorry i have only knocked a point off because the bed creaked a little when i moved in the night or was sitting on the bed, i often think am i going top wake others up, but i probably wouldnt have but it was the only think that stopped this from being a 10, in honesty 9.5/10 but they dont have half points on Four in a Bed ha.

Superb , spot on.
You could tell that the Sausages and Bacon were proper from a Butchers and despite me not eating it all on Day 1 and 2 as i tend to have a rough stomach sometimes when away i polished it off on Day 3
If i would improve one item for me the Hashbrowns but thats a picky thing they are either good or ok i find.
Coffee was bob on also.

Would i Stay at The Bluebell Guest House again

YES

If i go back to Bridlington next year i will be making the call to you directly as soon as i know the dates.

Can i also just add that where they Bluebell is located you have the beach less than a minute walk, a Tesco Express in reach for your paper and what ever you need and if you are walking down to the town from the Bluebell go via the Promenade it seems quicker for some reason.

Superb Stay, with Fabulous Hosts

My Nan and grandad stayed here from 4/9/23- 12/9/23. Before booking the room they messaged the people who own this bed and breakfast, as they are older and have some knee problem they asked for a room on the 1 floor at least. The owners insisted that why will he put on a lower room. 

Once arriving they got the keys for their room, however it was in the top floor. This made their experience very hard as they had to get up and down the stairs. The owners did insist that will be on a low floor.

Once settling in the man who works there or owns it, said they had the room till Sunday even tho it was booked for 7 nights. Monday- Monday- that’s 7 nights- the man said your out on Sunday morning even tho it was booked for 7 nights. As they had stuff planned they had to pay for extra night Sunday- Monday. What the man took straight £70, feels like he took advantage of vulnerable people.

However they left a night before as it was causing them a lot of trouble. The place didn’t seem friendly. It felt like they just wanted your money.

Forward to this, it was very clean, the breakfast was very good.

However if your a older generation I wouldn’t recommend this place

Location was fantastic, so close to seafront. Everything we wanted in a guesthouse stay. Lisa and Pete went that extra mile, and there was a lovely gesture waiting in our room - my daughter and mine birthday and  gifts and cards waiting for us.....thankyou. Loved the décor throughout the building. If you're looking for a 'Full English' to start your day, the quality and quantity provided was exceptional, with many other options available and catered to your needs, nothing was too much trouble i.e full breakfast 1st day, 2nd day we just wanted a breakfast sandwich. Quiet location.........just the 'chill out' we were looking for. Thankyou  

Quiet location.......... close to the seafront and all facilities

Had a lovely weekend at the bluebell guest house, beautiful little guest house on a quiet street but in walking distance for everything that Brid has to offer, the hosts were a lovely couple very friendly and welcoming,top floor room was spotless and a very comfortable bed, the breakfast was great we will definitely be staying again 😊

Lovely guest house

It was the worst experience ever in a bed & breakfast. Bed clothes damp. No light on stairs. Breakfast disgustingn, lady served breakfast in dirty dressing and  big dog in kitchen were food was cooked

Awful  place and disgusting owner

Great location, almost equal distance to harbour and Sewerby on the sea front, and a mile to the Old Town. Superb breakfast - veggie full English was faultless but the Speciality breakfast was something else. Clean, spacious room. Great communication throughout. No vacancies in mid January says it all

Excellent sea front B&B

Lovely little guest house with a 2 minute walk to the beach. 
We had the superior room on the top floor. 
Lovely big room. Very clean and en suite was immaculate. Bed was so comfortable, I want to take the bed home. 
I'm a very light sleeper so was concerned but it was very quiet and slept really well.
Breakfast was lovely and can tell the quality of the sausages and bacon are high quality. 
Hosts are very welcoming and love the little touches (USB charger plug, tampon)  in the room. 
Will be staying again when we revisit
