This is the second time I have stayed here and I just had to write a review. This place is ideal if looking for a beautiful location; the patio over looks the river, and the room has everything you need whilst being comfy and quiet. The owners were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Their friendly cat wonders around and joined us every morning whilst we were having our coffee by the river. Only a short walk into the centre of Bath, close to lots of restaurants and shops. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bath and will definitely be staying again; I can't recommend it enough!

Absolutely perfect!

I can quite honestly say that this was the most picturesque location we have ever stayed. We booked the Garden Room. It was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We were visiting our daughter who works in Bath . A fantastic bonus is the complimentary boat ride into Bath in the morning; the views were stunning. We were blessed with beautiful weather and spent a lot of time on the private terrace watching the  various water craft passing by. Sarah was a helpful and friendly host. We would love to stay again.

Wind in the Willows

When we arrived we met lulu she showed us to our room she was a very nice girl and had time to have a chat with us we also met meme and spot, the dogs, and pearl the cat they came to see us everyday. We sat on the patio in the evening or beside the river for a glass of wine as the boating station closes at 5 30pm there is a boat that comes at 9 20 am every morning to take you into bath there is no charge

3 day holiday

We stayed in the smaller room, can't remember the name. It was lovely. Really comfortable, clean and had everything you need for a short break. Really quick check in, friendly staff and great location. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk into town which means it was also very peaceful. Would be even better in the summer. We have used the boats from here previously which is also highly recommend.

Weekend break

A friendly and welcoming host Sarah, who met us at the car even carried a bag for us and made sure we were settled in. She gave us her mobile number to contact her at any time and we felt she was there if needed. The garden studio was lovely, well designed with a lovely modern bathroom and a shower that can fit two if the other half needs help scrubbing his back. Lots of soft fluffy blankets which gave it a home from home feel. The room has central heating which was needed for the winter nights although never felt cold inside. 

The studio is well kitted out, but not knowing that I bought things with me. But there is washing up liquid and sponges plates, glasses and mugs and an antibacterial soap st the sink in the kitchenette. In the bathroom the shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion were a nice touch. 

Back to the kitchenette, there was tea,coffee, milk and even hot chocolate and biscuits available (I bought my own) but what a nice touch. 

It’s also nice to see that the owners try to recycle and make the different bins available to do this. 

The location is good for the town centre maybe a 15 minute walk to the bridge and art gallery, very pleasant if you cut through the gardens along the way. There is parking on the sight. There is also a Resturant on the sight which we did not use. 

Overall a nice place to stay. I would recommend this place as it was comfortable and warm and welcoming. If there is a bigger group the premed is also has other accommodation available too. It’s ideal for a great calm river view and a bit of our door space.

Cosy, snug, riverside view, lots of extra bits 

Had a lovely stay in bath, the room had everything we needed including tea coffee and bread etc, comfy bed, clean room everything we could ask for! Sarah was lovely and looked after us, 10 minutes walk to central bath and even has free boats that run several times a day into the centre. Room was equipped with maps and things to do in bath and there’s even a little outdoor area and a pub a few yards away! (With lovely food) will definitely return and will be recommending to friends! Thankyou xxx

Found this place on booking.com and only booked as it was very reasonably priced for accommodation in bath, plus self catering aspect was better for us when travelling with a 9 month old.
Location perfect - a lovely 15 minute walk to centre on bath.
Rooms - spotlessly clean with everything you need, very very comfortable.
Hosts - super friendly.
Our room (the garden room) had the most beautiful little patio with a glass canopy to cover it - we sat under blankets until late into the evening! Perfect when travelling with small children who like to be in bed at 7pm
Would highly recommend this place. 

Loved this place!!

Perfect stay for a family of 2 kids, 2 adults. Free boat trip to Bath centre was fun... easy access by foot to the town centre or store.
Rooms were pleasant and comfortable. 
The kids appreciated the scenery, the cats and dogs...
We also appreciated the welcome and the restaurant which served really good food

Great relaxing stay

Where do I start? What an amazing trip we had staying in the garden view room at the boating station, I really cannot explain how fantastic this hidden gem is.... Steve and Sarah are both just lovely made us feel very welcome, grounds are maintained to perfection as it the room.... we wanted for absolutely nothing.... room provided everything we needed and more. We cannot wait to return.
