Glad this place closed. Food was so bad and service seemed to never improve. GreenKing needs to invest in quality not just decor. Last visit was this January and felt ripped off.  Had a terrine which was frozen and fish cake just contained potato hardly any fish.

No parking nearby is the biggest problem.

Hotel

Absolutely amazing! We stayed in the hotel and had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. All the staff we interacted with were so good, Rufus was brilliant and apologies I didn’t catch either of the 2 ladies named but they were also great. We will definitely be back, the food, room and drinks were all superb.

Totally recommend

We visited The Milsom and found it relatively pleasant.

The food was ok, though it's more upmarket and there wasn't much on the plate so I finished within 5 minutes of it being served! Great flavours however.

There was a service charge of 12.5% and this is not mentioned on any of the menu's and we were not made aware of this. We were not asked if we'd like more drinks and during our time at The Milsom, we were just served our drinks and then our food. There wasn't much in the way of service and if I had noticed this charge before I'd paid- I would have asked to have it taken off. 
I don't agree to paying a charge if I didn't receive any outstanding service, so feel this should be made at the customers discretion- not something that is added automatically. 

The food and drink we're enjoyable, but we found this is more pricier than other GK establishments 

The Milsom, Bath.

A group of us popped in for a quick drink to celebrate the birth of a friend’s child the other day! The team were great, really accommodating & the drinks were delicious! It’s a gorgeous venue, will be returning! 

Lovely drinks & beautiful decor

The service we received from, what we think was the manager, was amazing. He went above and beyond for us. The hotel is really beautifully decorated. The only downside I would say is that our room was on the top floor and it was absolutely freezing. We had an electric heater which helped but the single glazing was constantly condensated.

A cute hotel but expensive for the temperature

Didn't stay overnight, we had lunch, which was awful.   The restaurant was empty - I can understand why.
Delightful refurbishment of the building, but what a shame to serve terrible food in such lovely surroundings.

Disappointing lunch

Very welcoming, professional & friendly. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the bar before going out for the evening. Comfortable room with a great breakfast. The stairs to the room could be a bit challenging for some, but not a deal breaker for us. Would definitely recommend

Very professional, welcoming & friendly!

Had a booking for 4 people on a Sunday, really looking forward to a roast. Got there and there were only 2 other tables in, to then be told there were no roasts at all left. Really poor for a Sunday afternoon when there was a reservation made WELL in advance.

Beautiful hotel, with renovation in character with its original use, a bank. The stairs are a killer, and there is no lift, but this is made clear when booking, it is a listed building, it can't have a lift. The staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble, even offering help with suitcases. Full English Breakfast was huge, and tasty. Room was well equipped, with a pod type coffee machine, and decent toiletries, the bed was very comfy.
Although not central, it is within easy walking distance of the central area. Parking was a bit of an issue, as parking meters didn't work, so even loading up the car was a nail biting experience 😂 We parked at the Podium car park, cost us £45 for three nights.
