Lovely spacious accommodation, clean, warm and perfect for a few nights stay, with free car parking, fresh linen and towels, lovely kitchenette and bathroom. 

Short walk into Bakewell, down the hill lots of pubs to eat and drink close by. 

Ideal for a walking along the Monday trail.

Perfect Short Stay in Bakewell

Lovely friendly staff, room was very basic, smelled very musty, had to buy a candle to hide smell. Contemporary it is not !, only modern thing was bedroom door painted  grey.
Kitchenette was ok, and would have been useable, had there been some microwavable pots of some kind!, to cook in, as there was not a hob.. Lovely big bath,  unusable, as the pop up plug did not stay down. But good powerful shower over the bath. Decorated in a up cycled remnants of car boot sale, kind of way! More a budget  room. good sized tv. complimentary, tea, coffee , bathroom products etc.1 tea towel, washing up cloth, and some washing up liquid were very handy.

Our second visit and definitely not the last. Beautiful room, perfect for a relaxing few days. Everything we needed and dog friendly too. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Very handy for walking into town and a visit to the Thornbridge taproom. 

Post Christmas break 

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodges.  Special note of thanks goes to Linda, having rocked up in our Campervan she very kindly accommodated us parking wise.  There is adequate parking but we’re bigger than your average car.  We stayed in the Ellen MacArthur suite, which has a lovely view over Bakewell, the heating was on, it was very clean and tidy when we got there so another warm welcome.  The suite has everything you need and staff are on hand should you run out of anything.  It is a short walk into town and a picturesque one at that.  Bakewell is lovely, good shops, restaurants, pubs etc… absolutely recommend the lodges, we are going to return as there was so much more to see in the surrounding area.  :0).

Thoroughly enjoyable stay…

Not our first stay at this accommodation, and won’t be the last. We arrived early to be met by staff member, who made us feel welcome from the get-go. Accommodation was warm, welcoming well equipped with plentiful toiletries, and facilities to enable us to make ourselves Tea & Coffee  in our room. Flat screen Tv a good size, room with microwave, toaster kettle etc… beds large, with plentiful pillows and cushions. Parking on site, safe and well lit. Staff members on hand to assist if needed with a smile… looking forwards to our next stay in Bakewell.

Bakewell short stay for regional visit.

Fabulous 3 day break staying at Bagshaw Lodge.
Great accommodation Studio style.
Big comfy bed. kitchenette, bathroom,
Powerful shower. Everything we needed and very clean. Great view from the window,of Bakewell.
5 minutes walk into Bakewell down hill well appointed base  for all surrounding areas.
Parking included quiet location.
Really lovely helpful staff. Linda and Martin.
Loads of eateries in Bakewell really enjoyed our stay.. Will be back next year.



Fabulous Stay

We have just spent two glorious days  in Bakewell walking around the local countryside and staying at the BagshawHall/Sleep Lodge  mini apartments - it has been fabulous! Our accommodation was perfect! Spotlessly clean, a separate bedroom and living area, hot bath and shower and enough to make a hot cup of tea/coffee when we got back. Our apartment was fully equipped for us to cook, but there are so many lovely places to eat in Bakewell we chose to eat out. 
Linda and her team couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful - when we arrived we realised we’d booked the wrong week and they did everything they could to make sure we had somewhere to stay. I would definitely  highly recommend the Bagshaw Hall and adjoining Sleep Lodge accommodation.

Highly recommend!

Just arrived back from a delightful 3 night break. The staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was very well equipped, a super comfortable large double bed and spotlessly clean. The village of Bakewell is a very short stroll away making this an ideal place to stay. We can’t wait to return, thank you. 

Superb and ideal place to stay.

I couldn’t be happier with my stay at sleep lodge! The suites are immaculate, comes with own kitchenette, private bathroom and the biggest beds! I was a solo traveller from London and stayed for a couple nights, literally felt like a home away from home! Georgina is a lovely lady and on hand whenever I needed anything. I would highly recommend sleep lodge if you’re staying in Bakewell.

We have been going to Bakewell for many years and cannot believe we have only just found this accommodation - it was perfect.

We were met in the carpark by Martin who was extremely helpful and helped us with our luggage and gave us some good local advice on where to eat and drink.

The room was spacious, lovely decorated and spotlessly clean.  Everyone was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble - we will definitely be returning.
