We followed the recommendation of someone in Silifke, and we were content with the hotel.  We were given a 20TL price break (normal price was 90 TL/night), as we stayed the first weekend in November--end of the tourist season.  The gentleman (owner) at the reception desk was friendly, helpful and accomodating -- he showed us our room and once we got over the bright lime green walls and curtains, we settled in.   The view from the balcony was lovely--straight out to the Med, overlooking a very clean beach.  The interior of the property was immaculately clean; the room was very clean as well, putting us at ease.

The cons were that we killed six mosquitoes when we first arrived in the room -- the sliding screen door had an area not "tucked in" to the frame, so we fixed that with a tool we had with us.  After we went for an evening walk along the shore, we returned to five more mosquitoes... fortunately we got them all because no bites occurred during the night.  We did, however, keep the sliding glass door closed to keep any others out.

We thought we had problems with the hot water, but after calling the front desk, we were told it should be on any minute--we then turned on the cold / blue faucet and were able to take hot showers.  Also, the bathroom was one of those "efficient use of space" bathrooms--shower/potty/sink in one floor-to-ceiling tiled space.  No separated shower, but we have found that most "economy" hotels are like this in Turkey.

Breakfast was sufficient--we were happy to get out Traditional Turkish Breakfast on a plate.  Please see the photos I've attached.  

I would actually stay here again; access to the beach is wonderful--it is a short walk to the dock, and it is peaceful.  Price was right--no bells or whistles, but then, when you just need a clean place to rest at night, what do you really expect?!

The view, the view, the view! I could sit on my balcony 24/7 and just take in that sunny sea. Unfortunately, I had to go back in to my room. No screen on the door, so couldn't leave the balcony door open to hear the waves and reduce the strong cleaning product smell in my room. The bed was comfortable, but it had no top sheet, which icked me out a bit. Worst part - no hot water for a shower in the morning. I tried everything I could think of (including turning on the weird machine attached to the shower). When I said something to the front desk clerk, she just pointed to this breaker box type thing and looked at me like "Why couldn't you figure this out? Of course you should know you have to flip some breaker before showering." Breakfast was just so-so...I could have used an egg or a glass of juice. Weirdest thing was, the put me in a room at the end of the hall, with no lighting down at that end of the hall. Make getting my key in the door kind of challenging. The price was definitely cheap, but you do get what you pay for. I will say though, very nice couple running the place!
