And again it was a great stay now it’s pretty hot in north Thailand but the lush gardens surrounding the rooms offer plenty of shade and the ventilators in the room give you a breeze- I personally don’t like aircon and certainly not in Pai where you connect with nature. The mountain climate is mild at nights so no problem with sleeping. I feel so comfortable here to connect with good energy and the always happy owners. They do their best to serve you.

Beautiful gardens

Great stay again- my boyfriend and me had such a good time here. The couple who owns the place let you feel at home. If in the right mood they bake the best apple crumble south of Rome. 
It’s fun to stay here with the boys. 
Don’t miss this hidden gem of Pai. A wonderful lush garden included.

Lovely place

Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful is how I would summarise our five day stay here. The atmosphere was just perfect. We had everything we needed - good quality bicycles to use, a fridge, drinking water, a nice powerful hot shower, mosquito net, beautiful outdoor seating, the list goes on! You can also purchase espresso coffee or choose from a selection of breakfast options. However, what made this place outstanding were the hosts, Park and Noom. We loved them so much and they made our stay so easy. Nothing was too much trouble. I would say however that you need a bicycle (you can use theirs), or a scooter, as it’s a little out of town. But this was perfect for us!

A truly perfect, relaxing stay in Pai’s hillside villages.

Before booking a week trip here, I read the reviews and was excited to see if it would live up to its excellent reviews (and if I could survive without A/C!)

I am happy to announce the answer is YES and YES.

My bungalow is perfect, it has all the essentials and I had the best night of sleep that I've had in at least the past few months last night.

But I don't think Ban Nam Hoo bungalows gets its consistently excellent reviews because of how comfortable the rooms are, what sets it apart from the competition are the hosts and the ambiance.

The hosts perfectly hit the delicate balance between being very helpful with anything you need while also staying in the background and letting you unplug, chill, and just get into the mountain vibes...

There are cute animals... an adorable Labrador and several cats, all affectionate.

Each bungalow although set only several meters apart, have a high level of privacy. I love listening to the rain and since it's been raining the past couple days, it's been a platinum ASMR experience.

The fan has been more than enough to keep the room cool. As a matter of fact, even at its  lowest level, it can be a bit too cool if the wind is aimed directly at me. And considering it's summer right now, I imagine during the cooler parts of the year, one might not need to turn on at all.

It would definitely make getting around much easier if one were to rent a scooter. With a scooter, getting to town is ~4 minutes, I have not tried walking anywhere so I cant provide a time comparison to driving, just my advice to rent a scooter.

Like many of the other reviewers, I signed up for a week and am planning on staying for at least a month now. I do live in Bangkok and I am a digital nomad, so it isn't as big a deal as if I worked in a conventional job or if I were coming from farther away.

Update 1: I had a butterfly land on my arm and a cute puppy lay down to request a belly rub today. Sometimes this place feels like a fairy tale. ^^

Update 2: I originally booked a 1 week stay, I am now on week 4, and have no plans of leaving anytime soon. While eating at a closeby restaurant, a sick, malnourished, stray dog (check photos) that I named Sam chose me to take care of him.  The hosts (obviously animal lovers) took me to a nearby veterinarian (Pai Vet Clinic - awesome, fairly priced and loves animals!) where I was able to get him treated, vaccinated, and neutered. By far the most impactful thing that has happened on this trip is that the hosts were kind enough to take him in permanently even when I eventually leave here. This is no small thing as adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment and I am stunned and humbled by the generosity of the owners. I have never had an experience like this and truly cherish everyday here.

A once in a lifetime experience...

It was a pleasure after one long year to stay again here and feel at home. The hosts Park&Noom are angels, caring for the pleasure of every guest always dressed with a smile which comes from their hearts. They make the best apple crumble and Thai dishes per your request

Best ever

Bannamhoo Bungalow Pai is my hideout place whenever I want to go to Pai or sometimes it's the reason why I want to go to Pai.

Location could be tricky for those who has no transportation.

But if you get taxi or rent a bike to ride around in Pai anyway....then this is good hotel to stay.

This...I don't know to call it resort or hotel or bungalow or hut or homestay but it's like bunch of little houses that is located near Yun Lai Sunrise spot. it's so quiet and peaceful here.

Surrounded by tree and dogs and cats, the house made from wood with some windows and semi-open area shower. Perfect for me who get sick of concrete jungle like Bangkok.

Any house is great. But there is one big house for family (I think 4 persons.)

The bungalow is down to earth yet elegant enough for holiday. They is no air con but there is fan.

In cold season blanket is good enough plus there is hot water for you.

In hot season like April. Open up the windows and turn on the fan is fine.

The owners are amazing and helpful. They do offer simple, yet awesome breakfast and nice coffee here. 

They will give you little advice of where to go during the day in Pai. So if you have no clue, they could help.

They are dogs and cats lover so it's good for those fluffy face lover.

I come stay here every year during December - New year and I will always come back here. It's like second home to me.

Cozy cute little hideout feels like second home

I stayed here for 2 nights, everything was good. Owner was great and helpful.There are lovely cats and dogs here, if you are cats person .. you will love this place.

Cute little property off one of the main roads. I must warn that the roosters create a racket early on but that's what you get for choosing a more rural area. You need a scooter for this place! It will help a lot as the taxi into town is not cheap.

This was my second stay at Bannamhoo Bungalows, and it once again exceeded my high expectations.

We rented a bungalow with a fan for 11 nights and ended up in a larger bungalow with kitchen across the street.

It was as if we had our own property to ourselves, and it had an amazing view of he countryside / surrounding mountains.

Park and Noom are always the most gracious hosts, providing the highest level of service. (Noom even rushed my passport to me at the bus stop after dropping it while checking out!)

And for animal lovers, you will find your PARADISE!

With around 10 cats and 3 dogs, a moment rarely goes by without an animal wanting to give you love — and you wanting to return the favor.

We recommend Bannamhoo to all we know who are visiting Pai!

Bannamhoo Always Exceeding Expectations

We stayed at Bannamhoo for 5 nights and it was absolutely the best experience in Thailand for us. Owners are so kind, nice and welcoming people. The area is very beautiful and peaceful. The bungalows are nice and clean and the pets of course are the best part of it. There are over 10 cats and a few dogs and all of them are really friendly. 

The location is great, about few minutes drive to city center.

We can definetly recommend the place. This was the most peaceful place in the SE Asia for us.

It's like when you visit your grandparents on countryside but even better!

If you want to stay few nights away from Pai's hazzle, this is the place to be!
