We are a family wtih 3 kids. The location is clean, well equipped and the crew is very friendly (and english speaking). In 2 mins you are at the northern beach of Sirdaya, a perfect place to relax and refresh. Quite central it is a good place to stay in Chudschand, and a great alternative to a classic Hotel! The best place we had in Tajikistan!

We stayed two nights at the Armon Apart Hotel in Khujand last August 2017 and it was a really unexpectedly great stay for us. We had heard that Khujand didn’t have great hotels but this one proved everyone wrong as it was comfortable, quiet and the service was very friendly. Our Russian/Tajik had been improving as we went so we got by alright with both sides of the conversation understanding for the most part. The apartments are very clean, the kitchen was well appropriated and functional, the building was quiet for the two nights we were there and we would stay here again if we are ever in the area again.

I arrived without booking but they found a room without problem. Just across the road is a section where you can swim in the river which was lovely. Very clean and the room had all the facilities including a big kitchen (even though I ate out). WiFi was fine. People mention the language issues but with a bit of Russia you can get by just fine.

Hotel-apartments Armon is located in a quiet area of Khujand close to the river. The hotel has a patio, where you can read a book. I have got a big flat with a fridge, microwave, cooking plate, double bed and spacious living room with a sofa and small table. My clothes were washed without any additional charge. I changed more money than I needed and the property owner, very nice and friendly woman, changed the sum that I did not need back to dollars. I had to leave early in the morning but the breakfast was ready specially for me at 5.30. Wi fi signal was good, a/c was properly working. Recommend this place to everyone, especially for families with kids.

For a solo or business trip a very nice place to stay. Real bargain on the bank of the longest river in central Asia. Not far from center. But if you up to see central mosque or visit bazaar it's better to take a taxi which will cost you 10 somoni. Apartments are big and clean. Staff is very friendly, english and russian speaking. 

The Armon Apart hotel is a set of apartments set along the Syr Darya river.  The apartments are clean and well cared for, the colour schemes are better than in most hotels in the city.  The beds are comfortable, except that the pillow I had was rock-like, as in most Tajik hotels.  Each apartment has a kitchenette, with some dishes and at least a stove, tea kettle and refrigerator. You can get a microwave oven if you ask for it.  There is some traffic on the street along the building, so on weekends, try to get a room that does not face onto the street.  Of course, life being what it is, then you miss the beautiful night views of the river and the brightly lighted Tajik flag on the opposite bank. 
The owner speaks excellent English, Russian and Tajik, the staff mostly Tajik.  But since the owner lives on site, that's not a big problem.  Cash payment only unless you have a local credit card.  Wifi included, but no meals.
