Taipei Morning Hotel

Centrally located with so much great food options around. I love Japanese food and there is a couple of streets 2 mins walk from the hotel full of authentic Japanese restaurants! The room is on the small size but very clean and sufficient with comfortable bed. The shower has great water pressure and by far better than most of the 5 star hotels I stayed in. Reception is friendly, new bottled water and teabags provided daily. I have already stayed 1 week here. Still have another week to go. I am so impressed with the quality service of this little boutique hotel. I paid US$45 to $55 per night. For this price, this is unbeatable. Having that said, this is a small hotel in an old commercial building in a central neighborhood. The exterior is not attractive at all. Also, don't come and expect a grand lobby all the glam of a 5 star hotel. It is a cozy little hotel that is offering the top services within its own category. Comfort wise, other than the room being a little small (still bigger than those in a typical Tokyo hotel) , I feel as comfortable staying at a higher end hotel.
