7 reviewsFound Dream Taiwan Homestay after getting off at the bus station and searching for a budget hotel. Location is very good only a 5-7 minute walk to the bus station which makes it convenient for starting days trips in the area especial you want to explore the Taroko Gorge. If off on a quiet side street with a few local restaurants to grab a bite. This is a family run business and the owner Jerry is very kind and helpful. The rooms are basic but well kept, flat screen tv and they gave me an extra pillow on request. Excellent value for the price. I was on a high floor and the water pressure was one of the best in Asia. They have a pool table downstairs in the lobby and lots of free water and coffee. The lobby uses a safety card to get at night. They even have free laundry service. This is the first time I have come across this service in 20 years of travel. I will definitely be staying at Dream Taiwan Homestay the next time I go to Hualian.

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Dream Taiwan Homestay» is located in Hualien. This hotel is located 1 km from the city center.
