Wonderful food in very large amounts! Great dried meats and very tasty fondues. Highly recommended. Also recommend having a light dessert and coffee after all that cheese...
Service was great and very timely, and the atmosphere is very Swiss (which is a good thing!)

Great fondue and raclette

3.5 stars. Pros: still walking distance to train station. Can see Matterhorn. Small balcony. Cons: if you’re a light sleeper you’ll wake up whenever someone’s on the stairs. Room cleanliness could slightly be improved even tho it’s a 2 star accommodation. Breakfast although included in the price was extremely basic. 

Basic

Hotel and the room was clean and the location was really good. Breakfast was included but basic. We read from others comments that by asking you can get eggs and we got them, so that improved it. The staff was helpful when we had asked for two duvets we got them and we needed to store our luggage until afternoon and that was arranged. 

Don't pay for Matterhorn view or at least we were disappointed (room 8). There is a construction site that blocks the view, it is partial or restricted. Also the queen size bed was really more like 130 cm than even 140 cm. The room could aslo have kettle and blinding curtains to make it more comfortable.

Good location and clean, don't expect to get a good view

Just few steps from downtown and quite near to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola.
The hotel is very small, only 6 rooms located on two floors. 
Rooms are wide enough, our bathroom wasn't bad, only the shower a little small.
Being so small you must rely on other customers's politeness. Unfortunatelly we spent 3 nights out of 7 with very noisy men who came back to the hotel very late at night with no respect for other people, awaking us up with no regards.
Kind staff.
Breakfast is very basic with juice, yogurt on some days, bread, coldcuts, cheese, cereals and jam. The uncomfortable thing is that you have to get out from the hotel to have your breakfast cause it's served in the downstairs restaurant.
Ski room is quite uncomfortable too, because it's across the road and, most of all, it's really small, with no benches or chairs to sit. Skiboots dryer is in the aisle, at the same floor of the rooms.
Quite expensive for a 2 stars, even for Zermatt.

BASIC

Went here because of the cheap price compared to other hotels in Zermatt. I knew I had not much to expect but the price should be lower for what you get. 

Prepare to drag your luggage up very small stairs and listen to a pouring heating element all night. Had to wear earplugs. 
The breakfast was hardly a breakfast. 
The room had broken wallpanels and the carpenter was probably drunk when he did the room. My boyfriend could not fit in the shower (he is about 65 kg so its not that..). 

The staff was polite but that is probably about it. 
Would probably choose another hotel and pay a little extra
