We had such a wonderful family experience with guide, Perr, who took us out on a beautiful boat where we had a very scenic ride around and so much fun bringing in crabs (and even a couple of lobsters that were thrown back because it was not the season), and fishing for mackerel. It was very exciting for our three children, and we were provided with a lovely snack and coffee and water. I would absolutely recommend this experience to families!

Crab and Mackerel Fishing Experience!

We enjoyed 3 wonderful nights at this property.  Our room was cozy, the common space was clean and well stocked, the decks/docks offered wonderful views and the sounds of the ocean water lapping at the beach.  The daily breakfast was lovely, and the available bikes were a joy to ride.  Our seafood dinner was over the top and our excursion on the boat crabbing and fishing was so much fun.  I couldn't recommend this establishment more highly.  You won't be disappointed!!

A spectacular stay!!

This review is specifically for the Oyster Tasting experience and not the B&B, as we did this as a day trip from Smögen. The oyster tasting, which included a boat trip and lessons on how to open oysters, was an absolute highlight and highly recommended. Hanna and her father took excellent care of us on our outing. The oysters were delicious, the sea was beautiful, and the lessons were genuinely helpful and will be used in the future. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area.

Loved the oyster tasting

Overnight stay with lobster fishing, dinner and accommodation costs a lot. But the experience feels special and the captain with the helper is a marvel of information and kindness.Here it is fishing with reflection that applies, so it is not always that the catch is large.Food on the table is guaranteed in the small boathouse.Seafood platter with everything except the oysters, cheese serving and dessert could be more exciting though.Comfortable rooms in Nordic rustic style, provide good sleep quality after a few hours at sea.Only missing toiletries for the shower and a slightly more modest pricing for heating the hot tub. Very friendly and service-oriented staff. A little souvenir shop and tasteful art to buy.

It feels personal and selected

nice plain good room with nice kitchen. There is a mismatch between webside and reality, as the restaurant is only for events, and despite having made a reservation, we never heard anything. Breakfast ok, but could need some better food. The price was relative high outside high season..

We think this place is fantastic.  Quiet, no TV!  A beautiful view of water, rock islands, and the ever changing effect of the sky upon them.  Hannah offered a few possibilities for local experiences and she was spot on with every one of them.  She also prepares a very good breakfast with special smoothies!  We hope to return even though we are from over 5,000 miles away.  :)
They do offer special events and special sailing experiences by appointment.  Also, there is a kayak, paddleboard school about 100 yards down the road, although we were unable to participate this time.

West Coast Holliday

Really nice quite place. Everything was excellent. Clean big room with Nice view. 
Breakfast was very good from 8.30-11... really place which one you must to visit...... 
you can swim from your own dock.... we love this place 

Great 10/10

The location by the sea is a little piece of paradise. The deck running into the water with the waves gently lapping allowed us to float away on our dreams. Adding in an excellent breakfast, and a great boat trip arranged by the person in charge made this a really special experience.

Paradise by the sea

The world is fine up there in the west coast of Sweden. The light, the colours, the landscape, the food. The people. We went back to Evert's Sjöbod after a visit a few years ago in May, this time in October to take part in Lobster Safari, oyster tasting and a lavish seafood dinner in the old part of the fisherman's house with a panoramic view to the sea and islands and the beautiful wooden boat bobbing on the water just outside the window.
 
Yes, the walls are thin and therefore your privacy is limited, but that's not something that bothered us too much. 

It's a family-led business with people who know what they're doing and make their guests feel welcome. You do not get a feeling to be just another tourist, and that is a nice touch to the whole experience.

It will not be the last time we revisited

This place is very unique due to its location in a very calmed natural reserve area in the surroundings of Grebbestad. It is calmed (it was so silent!), it has a couple of piers acting as terraces - with deck chairs, table, etc-,  the views are astonishing, same as sunsets, it has very nice facilities (kitchen, fridge, etc), rooms are new and hyper clean, the staff is great, it is original and very well decorated, practical, you can do plenty of activities close by (swimming, beaches, kayaking). 
It is only 4 min drive from Grebbestad- so very well connected. 
We really enjoyed our time there and we are looking forward to being back.
