We only stayed for a night, but I wish we were here longer! The room we stayed in, was large, clean and cozy. The shared bathroom and kitchen are clean and practical and beautifully decorated. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! 

Wonderful!

We've been staying at Villa Grasdalen for two nights ans had a perfect experience. 
The owners were very friendly and our Appartement had everything we needed. A room with a small kitchen which also was the living room. A big bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed. The TV was even adjustable to be viewed from the living room or from the bed. Everything was working, clean and in good shape.
The location is also good in a quiet area with private buildings, but not far from the recreational areas at the lake and the center of Karlstad. The next bus stop was just a few meters away.

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in Karlstad, you should consider Villa Grasdalen in first place!

Very nice B&B, perfect for any short or longer stay

My husband and I stayed in this lovely B & B for two nights.  As we were traveling with his two sisters we opted for the upstairs two bedroom suite with bathroom, kitchen and small sitting room.  We were very happy with our choice.  The suite was lovely and there was plenty of room for the four of us.  We got along nicely sharing the bathroom with shower and had use of a small toilet at the bottom of the stairs.  We purchased the breakfast baskets and were pleased with what the hosts has included - minus the fish paste - which all 4 of us were to scared to try.  Bjorn and Kristin were on site and were very helpful.  We really would have enjoyed a much longer stay, but being our first visit to Sweden we had to move on to Stockholm after our two day visit.
