We loved staying at this farmhouse - very friendly owner and delicious home-cooked dinner. The house is on the lake and there is great swimming to be had at the back. Characterful and charming stay, recommended for something a little different!

What a beautiful place to stay. Simple accommodation but really friendly, welcoming owners (and dogs) made this a highlight of our trip to Sweden. The evening meal was great and we felt we were in a home rather than a business.

We stayed at the B and B as part of our adventure holiday with Nordic Trails. We were welcomed into the home by Anders and his wife who were lovely and brilliant hosts. We stayed in a beautiful room in one of the out houses and couldn't fault Anders as a host. He served us the most delicious Veal for dinner and had some great conversations with us. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Their home is beautiful and breakfast was delicious as well. Thank you. 

We never would have stumbled across this delightful B&B if not for Nordic Trails having recommended it to us.

It is a beautiful large two story homestead in the original 1800's style. Tragically part of the main house burnt down in the 1990s but has been faithfully reconstructed using traditional techniques and materials true to the original building.

The rooms are enormous, beautifully fitted out and the lake views are breathtaking.

We arrived to find our charming host Anders had made fresh apple juice from his trees. Anders was very chatty and had a huge historical knowledge of the entire area.

Dinner was a delicious creamy fish dish using fish caught in the lake only hours earlier - can't get fresher than that!

We walked out onto the jetty as the sun set and it was whisper quiet, still and magical.

Enjoyed a lovely hot bath too.  The only small negative is the tap water can have some slight discolouration as I assume it is rain or lake water.

We wished we could have stayed longer.

Stayed at this family manor for one night. Clean and comfortable with a shared bathroom. Hosts were lovely even during their busy day on a working farm. Dinner served in a stately dining room of locally caught fish was delicious. Breakfast also was plentiful.
