I pass three nights at that guest house. The room was cleam and tidy and the staff and the ownner were really helpful and friendly. It is a little bit far away from Kingstown amd thats a good and bad becouse you will need to get taxi service or use the bus. Don't follow the google maps indications it"s not well indicated!!!

Relax!

We needed a place for 7 people.  My wife and our three kids, ages 5 to 8 and my mom and her friend.  It was difficult to find such but an apartment at Crystal Heights did the trick.  The only setback, especially for my mom and her friend was that it was some distance from the main road or closest bus stop.  I rented a car so we were fine.  After discussing this with Virginia Phillips, who is the owner, she offered to drive my mom and her friend to the bus stop and pick them up when they call.  She didn't have to but that's how she is.
We enjoyed going up to the main verandah every morning to mingle with the other vacationers and also Ms. Phillips, enjoying the fresh air.  I cannot say enough about Virginia.  She was like family and her girls were like old friends. We definitely will be back, maybe sans mom. Oh, Ms. Phillips also took care of getting us to the airport at 4am for departure.

Best lookout and friendly staff

The Crystal Heights Guest House is located on top of a hill about half way between Kingstown and Arnos Vale. It has a veranda which is perfect for viewing the surrounding hills and sea. The helpful owner Virginia Phillips lives downstairs and the guests stay upstairs. The rooms are fine but nothing special, but there is an excellent living room for guests to use that has TV and sofas etc. in the evenings.  There is always hot water in the shower and the Wi-Fi worked extremely well in the living room, but not always in the bedroom. Breakfast is simple but adequate - Eggs, toast, cereal and fruit. It's a 10 minute walk to the bus stop ( mini-buses ) or you could ring for a taxi to go places if you prefer. I found Hilary "Breadfruit" King to be reliable, good humoured and reasonably priced ( 784 ) 527 - 7246.

A friendly Guest House with a wonderful view.

My husband and I stayed here with other friends to be close to the cricket ground. It's clean, comfortable although perhaps basic  with simple cooking facilities if you want to self cater in the evening. The breakfast was fresh and brought to the balcony every day. The view is spectacular and for those interested in birds ( we are) there was plenty to watch from the balcony. Sheets and towels were changed every other day, and a taxi driver can be arranged for your trips ( ask for the number for Breadfruit).

Friendly welcome in St Vincent

There is nothing like a good room, there is only an apartment in the basement, average,but  the price is to high. The other rooms, the toilets are right on your bed side, behind a curtain. The rooms are pretty small. No air condition, only a table fan. If it is not raining you can open the window and get a nice breeze, don't forget: window up carton in to hold and be fast at night to close the window. 1 Sitting room with TV for 5 rooms. We was lucky, we had one in our bedroom with one channel. The pics on the web looking only great. I am disappointed, but my own mistake, should read Apann's review better. lol
