I stayed in the hotel for 1 night with my 2 friends in a triple room. We had no reservation but just arrived and this was the 1st hotel we visited, from the list of options we had in mind and was the right choice. Room is Cosy and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Specially the receptionist who assisted us with an Early check in at 11 am. And also the Housekeeping gentleman ( The one who is older than the rest of the staff) always helped us whenever we asked for anything during our very short stay. Prices of the restaurant is a little overpriced for a Sri lankan, but nothing to complain on the service by the bar and restaurant, everything was great. Beautiful Beach and great view from the room. Will definitely come back once I’m back in Srilanka :)

Stay at Coral Beach Hotel

We had a lovely stay at the hotel . The staff are extremely friendly and the owner was very helpful and kind . It is nicely tucked away at the end of the bay with beautiful sunrises and a more chill vibe than the busy middle section of the beach which is just a couple of minutes walk . There is a small reef and you can sit and watch the surfers try the waves and paddle in the lagoon calm water right in front of the restaurant . The food is also very good and prepared with care . Proper cappuccino too ! We hope to be back next year .

A lovely place to stay

We were looking for the hotel with sea view and choose Coral Beach as we liked location-et the end of the Mirissa Beach, so, music from bars are not disturbing so much.
For a first day we stayed in authentic wooden room at the second floor, with a/c, but it was booked by others for next days, so the hotel manager arranged for us another room in new building with a good price. 
The best in room is bathroom with good hot water pressure and regulated shower. The mirror has a good lighting. The room is comfortable, view from balcony is nice. Ac working good.
At the last day hotel organized for us transfer to the airport with a fare price.
Highly recommend.

Great view, super location & helpful staff

I stayed 2nights, very nice place, exceptional friendly staff providing very good service all times. I enjoyed very much the food, especially Sri Lankan dishes at dinner: very delicious. The hotel itself was very clean, room and bathroom are  comfortable. I would always come back and recommend this place to others.

Horrible 

As per location, this is one of the best sea view hotels in Mirissa. We can see the surfers surf around, open blue ocean, Sunrise on the sea and hear the soothing sound of sea from your balcony. 
U can also get tuktuk from the front door all time. Property restaurants and some other local cheap restaurants can be easily accessible. There are all open fish restaurants by the beach in the evening including the property one near to the hotel. 
Value for money is still good. But i don't know if they will increase their tariff fir the new complex or not As they are building a new complex.
We stayed in front sea view AC room, and our friend stayed in side sea view from balcony non AC room. Both the rooms were quite big and clean. Same for the bathrooms.
Their restaurant can be a bit more organized but the food is normal.
There was nothing to dislike actually but for some improvement opportunities i must say their staffs should be more prompt, restaurant can be more organized. The current situation is quite good but they should improve as i believe they are trying to raising their standards with expansion of properties.

There are no private balconies for old complex rooms. And try to avoid the right last room facing sea of new complex as one tree is blocking the view


One of the best sea view hotels in Mirissa

Tourists selected this hotel because of its location, right next to the beach.
However, it probably did not do any maintenance since it was built.
The rooms are extremely dirty with lots of ants crawling in through the windows.

I wondered when they did the last cleaning, looked like years that rooms were last cleaned.

We had to cancel our booking when we saw the condition of the rooms.
In its website it says no 
Cancellation charge.  But they charge us 3000 rupies for the cancellation.

I advise any potential tourists to think 3 times before they book this hotel.

Horrible coral beach hotel

This hotel in the Mirissa Beach is one of the best located hotel amongst the all other places to stay here. This hotel is practically on the beach (See my photos for reference). This hotel has a large balcony surrounding the rooms, where each room gets access to the balcony and the view from the balcony to the sea is breathtaking. 

We stayed here for two nights. The rooms are very cheap compared to other hotels. You can stay here easily with around 30-40 USD per night and the rooms are pretty available. Ask for the room no 1 if possible cause that room has the most amazing view. The room itself is quite big,  air conditioned and clean. One thing you must remember that this is a beach side hotel so there will be sands in some places. Obviously no one is expecting 5 star rooms here. Toilets are big and clean, soaps are there but no shampoo. I would suggest to bring your own toiletries.

The best part of this hotel is it has a seating area with restaurant. Prices for the food item is similar to other reataurants in the area. We had seafood rice for 800 Srilankn rupees(around 5 USD) and it was more than enough for one person. There is a Bar adjacent and you will love it.

Overall this hotel went beyond my expectation in this budget and if you are travelling in a group or couple, I will surely recommend this place.

Best hotel with Amzing view in budget

This was a really lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly helpful staff, gorgeous breakfast and beautiful position. I would love to visit again but there is one point I must raise.  I’d still definitely go back. I will come for sure book a room here next time :-) Nice,,,,,,,,,,
