Jetwing Blue

Our first time staying at this hotel and we loved it so much! We've experienced Jetwing hospitality in Colombo, and Negombo certainly amped it up. The suite we stayed in was stunning, with amazing views and our own private jacuzzi. It was one my favourite rooms I've ever stayed in, so full of little thoughtful touches, house made butter cookies on the table and Sri Lankan coconut and caramel toffees at turn down. I was delighted to find a personalised letter welcoming me to the stay. It was Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest. The beachfront at the hotel was stunning, we traveled during a very hot period so the heat was pervasive but the pool was lovely and everyone greeted us with a smile and warmth. We were also assigned a personal butler which felt so decadent but we felt bad to even call him for anything! The hotel does some amazing work in their sustainability drives in house and there are tours to see just what they do to recycle, conserve and reuse. We were on b&b so only had breakfast which was nice, in all honesty this could have been a bit better but it was still very enjoyable. We had an amazing crab rice and curry for room service with all the curries and condiments, just before we checked out so we were very happy travelers. We thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so that at the time of writing this review, we've booked another weekend there! Highest recommendation for a warm Sri Lankan experience.
