the place was a go to place where you can enjoy your vacation peacefully with nature as the place is near the Elephant Safari Lodge... owner was friendly and accommodating to us that we felt very welcomed....breakfast was served good... a good recommendation for travelers to try when they visit Sri Lanka.

Perfect place to spend some nights . The host was very helpful for all we needed. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Very good local food. Even the wifi is working very well. I absolutely recommend this accommodation!

Great place and really nice host!

We recently spent 2 fantastic nights here.
The highlight of this place is the host. He is the kindest most helpful man I have ever met. Sanjeewa organised tours of pidurangala rock and sigiraya rock. Also a safari tour at Minneriya national Park. He also helped us catch buses to and from pollonaruwa and dambula. He can also organise tuk tuks or cars. Staying here and meeting Sanjeewa has been a real highlight of our month in Sri Lanka.
The rooms were basic but provide everything you need, big bed with bug net and attached toilet and shower room. There is a shared living and outdoor area.

Perfect location, the best host!

We had a great 2 night stay here. Bedroom and bathroom facilities were basic but provided all you needed including insect net that covered the entire bed. 
Host was extremely helpful in organising visits to Pidurangala Rock, Sigiriya, Minneriya National Park and even helped us coordinate local buses to get to Polonnaruwa or Dambulla. Great location to explore these areas and super helpful, honest host who provides useful information to suit all budgets. Local bus stop 20 metres from the accommodation providing services to Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, Kandy and more. Would highly recommend this homestay!! Our favourite one yet! 

Fantastic host and facilities for the cheap price! 

Spent there couple of night, the owner was super helpful for every things i needed. prices are ok, rooms are beautiful comfortable and clean, also the breakfast is good; wifi work well, you have all you need... recommend this place, i had beautiful time

Friendly and honest

I spent four nights at the Lake Breeze during which time I was able to visit Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, the cave temples in Dambulla and also a safai in the Minneriya National Park. Althought it's relatively easy to organise these visits independantly I decided to use transport provided by Lake Breeze. A little more expensive than sorting it all yourself but as I wasn't on a particularly tight budget I was happy with the arrangements.

Pleasant guest house in an excellent location

For the price the stay was ok. Rooms are small and nothing special and the surroundings has nothing special but it is a good start for many trips. Owner can provide food and transport to trips, which is convenient but may be overpriced, especially alcohol. Wifi was working properly.

The host really makes this place. We really enjoyed the safari with him and also did the Sigiriya tour. The rooms are about what you would expect for the price. 

The place is a little bit far away from Habarana so you will find yourself having to get transport in for dinner.
