A classic little family run guesthouse with a nice garden and sitting area. All rooms have a patio with own table and chairs and a sliding glass front. You have a beautiful look over the mountains and the sun rises directly in front of your room. Rooms are clean, nothing fancy. Conveniently located across the train station. A quiet spot with friendly owners.

the most dirty place where I ‘slept’. bathroom is never cleaned, hair mold and remains of other visitors everywhere, dangerous flow wires above the shower. bed as a shelf and dingy bedding. if you say something, she just laughs. Even for budget this is a ... hole !!.  So be warned 

Dirty dirty and even more dirty (I think laziness)

Friendly host, very close to the rail station if you want to catch an early train but horrible bathrooms. We stayed in Ella for 3 nights and the other place we stayed 2 nights for just few more Euros was a heaven compared to this place.

Terrible bathrooms

We arrived to what was ment to be 2 single beds in a room as we arrived there was only one double bed. So we ended up getting 2 double rooms, and discussed a discounted price as they had not delivered what was promised. Suprise suprise when it came time to pay they refused to discount the price. When we went into our rooms the smell of mould was over whelming. The sheets were absolutely disgusting. The bathroom sink didnt work in one of the rooms and the other rooms toilet didnt flush! Both hot water systems were broken so it was cold showers for us! The drain was bloked in one room witch ended with a giant pool of water attracting mosquitos. In the morning we woke to a pot of watery coffee followed by several pieces of mould bread! I would NOT stay here again if you payed me. Worst expierence ive had in a very long time. Extremly disapointed

Absolutely disgracful

I stayed for two nights and the management and room were perfect for backpackers who are staying short term. Easy access to the main strip of Ella and a five minute walk from Ellas station.

Great atmosphere lovely management

The owner was a bit persistent, but very friendly in the end. He was helpful in explaining where Ella Rock was. The room was nice and the bed pretty comfortable. I wouldn't recommend the food here - coffee was very weak and the breakfast was mediocre. But worth staying in for the location (right next to the train tracks) and the owners.
