If you are with a car, instead of a city center, this is a good choice. In the rural part of Onati, very comfortable hotel in the middle of a rural area. Good value for money with free breakfast and free parking. I recommend you to visit the old town of Onati, very cute place.

Fresh air, in the nature

Very cosi and nice place. The pictures on the website do not reflect the beautiful building and surroundings.
Nice and helpfull people.
Upon arrival, the fireplace was on.
As we left very early the next day, an extremely early small breakfast table was prepared for us.

topper to pass by

I did not knew where we were going until we got there to discover how amazing was the place. we were all lodged in a big apartment of 4 rooms each one with a bathroom, well prepared for accepting a group.
the only problem is that they should add more pictures of the others apartments on the web.
For a weekend relaxing and enjoying with family, with wife/husband, with kids, you can't dream to have better in the deep Basque Country. What is sad is when arrive the time to go back to the reality and you start valuing all what you are leaving behind and getting almost to cry, but crying of joy and happiness.

Weekend with friends

Good size room. Good but simple breakfast (tosts with jam and cream cheese, tea or coffee with milk and a great sponge cake) and good local food at dinner coked by Inhaki.
But the room was noisy because it was located on the ground floor near the kitchen and the dining room. In our last day they relocated us to another bedroom while we were out, at around 3pm due to a "double booking" of it. The problem with this suite (with kitchenette and jacuzzi tub) was that it wasn't clean (hairs on the corner of the bathroom floor, the toilet smelled bad, dust on the furniture, bread crumbs on the breakfast table) - We got back to Casa Aregi late in the evening so it was already too late to ask for a room switch.

Quiet nice place

Me and my husband spent two nights at Casa Rural Arregi. It is a very nice place just a few minutes drive away from Onate centre. The owners were really lovely and friendly and we enjoyed their hospitality! We know some Spanish so we used it when speaking with them - I'm not sure how smooth everything would have been in English...

Our room was cozy and clean. There was no airconditioning but we did not even need one since the stone building stayed cool enough eventhough it was very hot outside during the day.

We ate home-made three course dinner there on both evenings and drank some excellent red wine!

All in all, the price-value ratio is excellent. I'll highly recommend this place!
