Casa Manuel Nerja

Casa Manuel is a real hidden gem! We arrived on a very late flight and did not arrive to the Hostal until after 12.30 am at night, however the manager was there to meet us and checked us in promptly. The room itself was spotless with a large bathroom, two single beds, fridge, hairdryer, soap/ shampoo, television etc and was perfect for our needs. Breakfast is served downstairs from 8.30 to 11 am where you have the choice of cereal, toast, orange juice, coffee or tea. It made such a difference to us to be able to have something small to eat first thing in the morning before starting the day. The location is excellent, about a 10 minute direct walk to the Balcon and very close to the bus station. The street is quiet and we had no difficulty with any noise at any time, day or night, while staying in Room 3. We were so impressed with the friendly and helpful manager who was on site whenever you needed him. We accidentally locked our keys in the room on one occasion and he was there within 2 minutes to unlock it for us. On our last day, we were not leaving until 6.30 pm and we asked could we leave our luggage downstairs, he told us that we could have the use of the room until we checked out as he did not have his next guests arriving until the next day! We were so impressed and it made our last day so much more enjoyable. We would definitely return again and would highly recommend Casa Manuel.
