Amazing value for money, no luft yet but a lift is coming, super friendly owner, great location.it can be hard to park in the whole village/area but being off season, we were lucky.
Please please please, this place deservesto be the first choice if looking for a decent but not luxurious accomodation in the costa brava, and definitively the right location

A great place for a cheap price

Good location on 5 mins from beach, good price and very helpful staff, but, the sewerage smell from the bathroom in the room, and u can smell it in reception, was very unpleasant. We mentioned it, but what could the kind receptionist do. Would not stay there again because of this oroblem. If u r lucky, free parking outside is perfect, otherwise 5 mins away.

Just too smelly

Pension Torrent is a good place to sleep in the center of L'Escala. It's close to the beach, the city center, the bus stop... at walking distance of the ruins of Ampuries.

The room was very clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff is nice.

Wifi connection is quite good.

The only bad point is on the soundproofing of walls, we could here people going up and down the stairs from the bed, also doors, running water...

Great budget place to sleep in L'Escala

Really good place to base yourself, location is great for the shops and the sea, parking right outside the Pension and really helpful staff/owner.
Rooms are very clean, beds really comfortable and even though you are near the church (and the bells), when the blinds are down or windows shut you can hardly hear.
Would definitely recommend.

This was just perfect for my short stay in L'escala. After a week in hostels, it was a relief to get my own room - for about the same price that I paid for a dorm bed in Barcelona! The friendly innkeeper lady gave me a warm welcome.The room was very nice and convenient, incredibly so considering the cheap price. Decoration was cute, and there was a tv and wifi connection. The bathroom was an open one within the room, but I didn't mind that. Location is great, just near the beach. Highly recommended.

A gem!

What a great little place to stay, we have already recommended it to friends who are planning a visit to L'Escala. In the old town a few 100 metres from the beach front and restaurants. Parking can be found in some of the side streets around the pension, but there are parking areas a bit further away.  They owners are very friendly and non intrusive, on arrival just handed the keys and paid on departure. Downside - the proximity to the town church and it's bells. Not for nothing are there a couple of pairs of ear plugs on the bedside table. Bottom line would we stay again - Yes. Anywhere in the old town will be affected by the bells, so it's the whole package of the pension wins the day.
