22 reviewsSpent two weeks here in early July 2021 and couldn't have had a nicer stay. We were concerned that for the price we paid for a two room apartment, these might be small, but the apartment we had was very spacious and benefitted from the sea breeze. The apartments are fairly basically equipped, but there is all the required stuff in the kitchen is you want to cook. No hairdryer if you haven't brought one or an iron if you (for reasons I don't comprehend) want to iron your clothes on holiday! Great shower/bathroom, and the cleaner comes every two days and also replaces the towels. Bedrooms were great with really comfy beds (firm mattress), ceiling fans, a portable fan, and enough drawers, wardrobes, etc (not enough hangers, but then there never are in holiday apartments). No air con, but that's not an issue for us - and the sea breeze does help. Two minute walk to the fabulous beach. Tony, the owner, could not have been more helpful and friendly. He even provided a beach umbrella for free and all guests can borrow the paddle boards for free (highly recommended). We had breakfast provide by Tony and his son, for a reasonable price, a few times, and these are also good, and provided an opportunity to chat with Tony. Canyamel is a great place to holiday with a wide choice of great restaurants, a fabulous beach with some decent snorkling opportunities, and lots and lots of friendly people. I'd highly recommend the Mini Golf Apartments and Canyamel generally.
