Hotel Alondra

Slight mix up with the booking from the Palma office but they knew this before myself and my young son arrived at 330am. So we were taxied to another hotel for the night, given breakfast and then transferred back for our room being ready by 11am. Upgraded to sea view room. Room clean, a bit dated perhaps but perfectly adequate. All staff were very pleasant, towels changed when needed, room cleaned and beds made every day, sheets changed once during our 9 day stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and clean. Good sleep quality. We were staying half board, breakfast plentiful and dinner had a v good range, meats, fish, pasta options. Fruit, bread in good supply and lots of desserts. The only downside to dinner was paying for water and juice, would have liked this included but it wasn’t costly. Parking right outside hotel in the street though coming back late at night did have to park a few minutes walk away a couple of times and took a while to find a space. Entertainment twice during our stay, finished by midnight. The area is popular with German holiday makers and caters largely to their tastes but still plenty of tapas around. Best lunch of the break was at Son Moll restaurant a few metres walk from Son Moll beach and the hotel, literally two streets away. Area clean and tidy, roads easy to drive. Cala Rajada itself busy, lots of shops and places to eat all along to front and marina.
