Great location bars and restaurants a stones throw from apartment. Marina beach and castle only a 10min stroll and all must visits. Apartment is small but clean and comfy and has everything you need . Host Michael is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Tells you everything you need to know. Also kept our bags until 6pm while we could walk our last day walking around lovely Alicante.  Thankyou so much Michael.

Great stay

In the thousands of hotels we’ve stayed in, we’ve never experienced such terrible customer service. 
The owner started out very friendly and let us know he could be reached by phone, but when we returned to our hotel after dinner the air conditioner didn’t work . The room was at least 30 degrees and the windows couldn’t be opened due to the hundreds of partying  people directly below the hotel at the neighbouring night clubs (the noise went on till 430 am) I tried calling, messaging and texting and he eventually said he couldn’t help as he didn’t live in Alicante. It was absolutely sweltering all night, we didn’t get more than an hour or two of sleep. He arrived the next morning and could not get it to work, he offered no apology, just “you’ll have to find another place”  (not so easy in a tourist town in summer) We asked for a refund to which he said he would refund the second day of our 2 day booking but not the first. He became extremely loud and rude, yelling “pack your bags, you’ve got 10 minutes to be out of here”. Very scary and shocking. Be aware, this man is charming and friendly until he is not!

Shocking customer service

We recently stayed here, and in the whole it was a good experience. The host is very helpful, quick to answer questions. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to so many things. View from the roof terrace are great, but the stairs are a nightmare. The terrace could also do with a mini refit, better furniture. 
The room is a good size, the bed is very uncomfortable and no duvet, or substantial bedding. I was very cold, the one sheet was really not enough. 
You are also very close to the neighbours in the other building, I appreciate there is nothing that can be done, but keeping curtains closed is advisable. On the whole though great accommodation.

Great location and excellent views 

The rooftop terrace is great. The place is close to everything: shops, the beach, the castle, the tram. The host is charming and helpful. The kitchen was small but it did the job and we were quite happy here!

Great location, great host

On arrival we met our host as arranged and he was lovely and very informative. The apartments are very central in the old town which was nice and We stayed in the very top flat which would be quite a hard climb if you were elderly or infirm but the view from our window was worth it. Stunning view of the castle. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy but I would say it wasn't really big enough for 2 to be comfortable and the bed was small. There is a lovely seating area on the roof which again gives great views but we had a problem with guests who felt the need to drag the furniture around up there which was really loud in the room. No chance of a siesta. Also right below the building is a nightclub. On the Friday night we were awoken by the screams of youngsters and it turned out it was chucking out time and they continued to hang about until gone 3.00am. Screaming and laughing and play fighting. Zero sleep had by us. The noise was terrible even with the double glazed windows shut. We dreaded Saturday.

Nice location but beware the nightclub next door

The guesthouse is situated in the old town. Vert good location! Many restaurants, pubs and shops close by. The room was modern and clean. There is also a roof terrasse which made the stay even better! 

Good location

Very well located, close to shops, buses and trams and places to visit. Lovely communal roof terrace. My studio was just right for one person. It was clean and had all the stuff I needed. Bathroom was small but functional but the shower needs some attention, it tends to flood the floor.

The host was charming and helpful.

A nice studio in a super location

This accommodation is definitely value for money, nested in the beautiful streets of Alicante, with a 2-5 minute walk from multiple restaurants and bars. The accommodation is comfortable and very clean. A supermarket is a 5 minute walk. Perfect accommodation for 3-4 persons. Michael is a perfect host.  Thanks for our stay.
