Us on Earth is a lovely,  cozy apartment. We love the way the apartment is furnished - the drapes,  the lovely lace curtain adorning one wall of the bedroom,  cute accessories and kitchen. It is a wonderful testament to the thoughtful design of the female owner. Even the bedroom slippers are cute! 

Although we stayed only 1 night,  it was worth the 3 hr drive from Seoul as Danyang-gun is quite a pretty sight in mid April with the cherry blossoms.

We had a comfortable stay thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner's mum.  Though we don't speak Korean & she does not speak English, we had no difficulty understanding her.  😆

We are happy with the simple breakfast though we had to prepare it ourselves. If we ever decide to re-visit Danyang, we will stay here again. 


Cozy, lovely & thoughtfully designed 👍

Our car GPS was not able to locate this B&B and took us over half an hour to find the place. It was not a disappointment as the home was inviting and really clean. The owner who speak good English does not stay at this place but her parents stays downstairs but they cannot speak English but we get by. This B&B is highly recommended, not located on main street but if you a car, it is easily accessible to the main shopping street or the lakeside garden is 15 mins on foot.

Tastefully designed home

We loved our stay at this guesthouse. The parents live downstairs and as we booked both rooms, we had the whole upstairs to ourselves which included bathroom, kitchen, living room, and a beautiful balcony. Although the Korean parents didnt speak mcuh English, they were so welcoming and made us very comfortable right away. The place was spotlessly clean and although we didnt meet the host, we could tell that so much detail had been put into every little thing and that made the stay very enjoyable. The decorations (posters, lights, etc) and furniture were very cute and cozy, there were maps and a bookshelf full of books, kitchen was fully equipped, and they even provided toast and cereal for breakfast. There was tea and coffee too, extra towels, an electric blanket for the colder weather (although the heating was perfect and we didnt even need to use these), and it really felt like someone cared about the little things that made a perfect stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Danyang!

Excellent stay in Danyang, every detail so thoughtful

A really lovely cosy warm modern guest house in the centre of Danyang.
We spent a night there in August,the town is surrounded by mountains with a river running through it,the day itself was foul with consistent rain,after spending time at the famous caves and the Guinsa temples(bus times provided at the guest house)the rain spoilt the afternoon so we went back early to the guest house,there are only a couple of rooms,both on the first floor with like a lounge area outside the rooms and a kitchen opposite.The house is very homely and it was easy to relax there.There is also a roof terrace overlooking the river which would have been nice to use.Eggs,juice,coffee,bread etc were provided in the morning,although you had to cook it yourself which was fine.The hosts were nice people but could not speak English,we had to book a taxi to the station the next morning and the hosts phoned the daughter who could speak excellent English and booked it for us.
Highly recommended and all for around £35

Lovely guest house in Danyang

A modern guesthouse in Danyang-gun(county). Quite affordable for backpackers as well. Most of all, really kind managers made me feel like a home. I definitely will stay here if I visit Danyang again.

Location:
This is in a residential area about 15 min walk from the Danyang bus terminal. The way to the guesthouse is a little bit of hill. But, it's not tough. There's a bus stop nearby and I had almost no problem traveling in Danyang. 

Cost:
Very affordable. Breakfast is included which is rare in this roomrate of Danyang. 

Facility:
Clean and good. Breakfast is included and nice. No complaints on bathrooms as well. The terrace upstairs has a wonderful view. You can see a paragliding sitting on a terrace. In the room, there's a radiator and electric mattresses. WiFi is fast. With only three rooms, it's mostly quiet.

Service:
I think everyone will like their services even with no English proficiency. Residing downstairs, the owners are very helpful and friendly.
