The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The facilities where very good, and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast was whatever you wanted. It was kept clean and tidy. We had gone to watch cricket, and the ground was only 5 minutes away by car. Shame we were only there for 3 nights

I was very pleased with my stay here.  It was very clean and spacious.  The staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was prepared well. If I return to Port Elizabeth I will will definitely stay here again!

Great place!

Beautiful restored old building with spacious rooms. Well situated close to sea and harbor. Quiet neighborhood with several good restaurants within walking distance. Traffic in the area is low and it was not difficult to drive in and out during peak hours.

Business visit

The Staff and owner was so kind. The Breakfast was awesome and overall had a great time in PE which was also my first Time, Everything worked regardless of the drought, they still managed to make it pleasant.

Kindness

After being disappointed with the initial accommodation that we had booked we found this amazing guest house close to stanely street. The hostess was super friendly and loved the antique feel in the rooms, will definitely recommend when visiting.

Cricket trip 

I have stayed over on 4 occasions now..
This is a charming Original Victorian home with loads of charm and a warm atmosphere.
Great value for money and tranquil surroundings.
Very central and 100m away from a selection of decent restaurants and coffee shops.
The breakfast is good and the staff are always friendly and accommodating.
I definitely recommend this venue for any weary traveller looking for comfort and a clean bedroom.

Port Elizabeth St Phillip's bed and breakfast my home away from home..

We stayed one night at St.Philips b&b and it was fantastic. The staff was really friendly, the rooms beautiful, the breakfast tasty. Rodney, the owner of the b&b is a very heartful man. We needed to go to hospital for some checks and he was helping us to find a doctor even it was christmas eve. Thank you so much! We can really recommend St.Philips b&b to you!

Absolutely fantastic

This has to be one of the nicest guest houses I have stayed in a very long time.  Neat clean and very nicely decorated.  Such attention to detail.  Staff are fantastic and go the extra mile.  I needed a cab to airport they arranged no problem. Breakfast was amazing really made my day. This guest house is very close to some absolutely lovely restaurants. Really loved my stay will be back.

Very convenient and stunning

My dad and I had to arrange a very sudden trip to PE due to my mom going into Hospital at the St Georges Life Hospital.  I phoned Rodney in an absolute panic as most accommodation was fully booked in PE due to the Ironman and between him and Belinda [his fabulous Receptionist] a plan was made!!  Nothing was too much for them to assist with.  From awesome breakfasts, so spacious and clean rooms.  Honestly I would recommend them to anyone!!  And it was only 3km away from the Hospital and the great Stanley Street with awesome pubs and restaurants.
