Langdam U Rock! What started out as a Friday night glamping experience.. . to swimming, chilling in the awesome hot tubs.. and ending off in one of their awesome cottages. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS right there!!. Garth is an awesome host.. If u looking for a great experience.. Chilling in nature.. relaxing.. THIS IS IT!!. See u soon guys.

Great weekend.. Awesome hospitality.. Stunning facilities.. Beautiful scenery.. Hot tubs for days💥

We booked a weekend away for a friends birthday. We ended up booking out the whole glamping campsite and we were all so very happy with our stay.

We were greeting by Garth (the Manager) and shown to our Glamping site. He was helpful and attentive organising to get us some wood and firelighter so we could light a fire at the awesome outside sheltered braai space. 

Later the Haiko (The Owner)  came down to greet us all and made us all feel very welcome.

The weather was pretty chilly but the comfortable beds and extra blankets provided kept us nice and warm. Each Tent had electricity and had their own coffee and tea station which was perfect for the chilly weather.

It is a beautiful farm with many trails to explore.

Highly recommend for any occasion!

Lovely Getaway

Most well kept beautiful property.  Stunning owners.  Beautiful accommodation.  Lots of mountain trails and close to Montagu town for a quick drive to the needed shops and attractions.  Highly recommended.

Weekend Stay

Best stay there ever. was cold but arrived just in time to see the snow fall. 
Friendly owners, warm accommodation.
Great place to relax.
Very nice play area for kids to play and if you wanted to have a wedding the venue hall looks absolutely amazing.
The camping area looks great as well, something for us to try out next.

Spectacular!

We stayed over in December travelling from the north down to the Garden route. The farm is situated next to a massive mountain with a trail going to the top. Unfortunately the rain prevented us from hiking.
We stayed in a wooden cabin which fitted our 5 family without a problem. The view from our cottage was magnificent. I tried fishing but did not catch any fish. The farmer was busy harvesting apricots and we bought some which were delicious.
The farm was quite busy and the dams and swimming areas a bit busy for us. I will certainly go back if I can go out of season when there are few people around. If you like isolation I will recommend the Apple cabin.

Beautiful nature

We stayed during the April holidays.Loved the fresh air..and early walks..rowing on the dam.and feeding the pigs.The days were sunny, but the pool was freezing and kids couldnt swim.Pity that the owners dogs was not as friendly as advertised..it dampen our spirits.We loved the cottage and that it was fully fenced.had everything we needed.

Great place

Had the best time.  Such friendly hosts.  Had an awesome time (even if it was so cold).  Our cottage was welcoming and there was plenty of space. Beautiful bathroom.  The inside fireplace made the place warm and toasty.  We took nice walks on the farm.  Loved the isolation - great for a getaway to enjoy silence and the beauty of nature.  Tip for others - Far from Montagu so do your complete shopping before you travel to you cottage.  Otherwise super enjoyable for adults and kids.  DOGS ALSO AMAZING AND LOVING!

Beware of booking at this establishment.. Photos are deceiving as some cottages are not situated in the picturesque setting the photos lead you to believe.. shepherds cottage is on a main busy farm road with no security or views they promise.. false advertising at it's best!
