I Enjoyed my stay the staff were very friendly helpful and jolly. The rooms were very neat and attractive. The food was very nice and served as requested. I will obviously advise my friends to visit the place

Visit in Mpumalanga

It was easy to book. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome and very quick on email replies. We requested a room with a fold=open couch and we got it with eagerness. Only 20km from the Kruger gate.

Ga-Machute - Business Stay Over

The service was good and quick. When we went for checking in we didn't go for documents signing which was good and time saving. But over all Machate guest lodge is a place to be when you need sometime way.

Dr Machete was very helpful and professional the accommodation is situated well for all amenities not to far from Kruger gate easy access and very tranquil and clean had a fabulous time would recommend to anyone that is going to the park

Break away

Very poor services by the staff. The room was was in poor condition, water leakages the whole night. I booked two weeks in advance for two nights and I also paid the deposit but when we got there they were not expecting me at all, we had to wait in the lobby for an hour, when it was finally confirmed, the room was not prepared the lady had to go clean the room for another 30-45 min. Mind you we were from Pta so we were also tired and exhausted from the trip. When she was done cleaning she told us that she still had to dry the towels for the room which took about an hour so we had to wait for her to come back before we slept and mind you we had an early morning the next day. When we left the next morning she promised to move us to another room because the one we were sleeping on had a water leakage but when we came back later that day she told us that she didn't expect us to come back and the room she promised was occupied by someone else and she wanted us to sleep in the same bedroom. We had to be relocated to another BnB. We really had bad service ko Machete

Accomodation

On arrival at reception I had to look for someone to assist, after a while the only person I saw at the venue had to see my documents for my reservation to copy ??? strange they did not know of the booking, then was shown to a room that was very small, the bathroom comprised of a cracked toilet bowl, an unfinished shower and a motion sensor light with only one globe, it did not work. The bedroom area was so small two persons could not move at once, the fridge was not working, I could not find a light switch for the bedroom, a very small TV as well as a clothing cupboard.
Other rooms still had building materials stored in them and the whole area and the rooms had NO visible security.

If this is a 3-star type accommodation offered to Local and Overseas visitors, then
I strongly recommend  that YOU and SA Tourism evaluate these types of venues
so that people like myself wont, in the future, be conned into booking Online at these disgraceful venues and paying a deposit as well.
