Had a wonderful stay in the self-catering apartment & one queen bed room was awesome. Lovely spaces, clean tidy comfortable beds, nice & quiet neighbourhood easy access to apartment & room we enjoyed ourselves a bunch.

Birthday Celebrations!!!

What a lovely place! We felt very much at home. Everything is neat and tidy with different rooms or cottages to choose from. The rooms are well equipped, catering for all your needs, which makes it a convenient stay.  During loadshedding you can still watch TV and use the wifi. It is great for a group of friends, family, couples or single person. Short term or long term. Highly recommended.

Great place with a homey feel

The was lovely, clean, neat and we had everything we needed to make our weekend special.

The Lodge it's easy accessible and secure parking lot, the great part is we never felt the loadshedding😊

Lovely and great for weekend away

The most comfortable, convenient and perfectly equipped self catering accommodation  - spacious two bedroomed unit with all facilities needed - perfect Wi-Fi, and cable TV, Heated blankets, well equipped kitchen with cooker and microwave and coffee/tea facilities, great complimentary rusks and loads of space.  Centrally positioned in the heart of Montagu with all restaurants just a short stroll away as well as offering a plunge pool and barbeque facilities - Hassle free Electronic access, ample secure parking - this has it all. 

Simply amazing - a great little stopover without breaking the bank !

Amazing peaceful stay with Family. Thanks to the amazing host Christine for making my 21st memorable with my family and for allowing the family dog Grey. Everything was perfect. Definitely a must if you pass Montagu.

Family get together

We have stayed at the Koo Karoo regularily for the last nine yearsand realy enjoy it.
Shirley is always makes us welcome and is very helpful with suggestions of where to go and making bookings for us.
Our room is very comfortable and it is great having  air con and wifi.
Would highly recommend  the Koo Karoo Guest Lodge.

Favourite Place to stay

Just reviewing the places we stayed on our last South African holiday. The review previous to this I titled "OK but not nice enough to return" - this accommodation in contrast I would be very happy to stay in again.
The hostess was friendly and helpful, you got the impression she was genuinely happy to help if needed. Accommodation was clean and central to town. I am a fan of Montagu and would be happy to stay here again. Thanks from all of us.

Very happy, would return

We stayed in the 2 bedroom self-catering cottage and found it excellent value for money. One bedroom had a massive (and very comfortable) king size bed and the second room had two singles. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom which has a bath and a separate shower. It was spotlessly clean. The cottage was well equipped and we were warm and cosy with electric blankets and heaters. Kitchen had everything we needed. We found the location very central, but very quiet and peaceful. All in all, a lovely stay in Montagu and Shirley was a very welcoming host. We will be back! 

Couldn’t fault it

Stayed at Koo Karoo in early May. We had a wonderful stay. Lovely clean accommodation with a bed that was so comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and dining area.  Shirley could not have be more welcoming and recommended local restaurants and places of interest. Would certainly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay

A very comfortable stay. Shirley was very welcoming and helpful with free Wifi being an added bonus. We needed an extra night at the start of our stay and she fitted us in to the very spacious cottage.We found that it was a very convenient walk to the town centre.  A definite recommendation to anyone who intends to visit Montagu, and we will certainly be visiting again.
