Excellent, stunning and homly facility that accommodated our celebration. We simultaneously celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. It turned out to be the perfect setting for us. Family and friends from Port Elizabeth joined us for the evening. They were obviously, pleasantly impressed with the venue. Thank you for allowing us to visit your place.

20th Wedding Anniversary

We loved it at Milkwood on Main! Lindsay was so helpful in every way.
Spacious rooms, with everything you need. Prices are so reasonable, we saw a few other guest houses (where our friends lived while at Kidds beach)  and ours were by FAR the best.

We recently stayed at Milkwood on Main. We were only there for one night but we really loved it.

The house was modern with an open plan environment as well as a great Braai area.

Lindsay, our host, was great and made sure we enjoyed our stay. 

I would definitely recommend this establishment, especially for this who are coming from inland and want to stay in a cozy house for the holidays close to the sea.

Very pleasant place, quiet during days and nights, very friendly staff, lots of safe parking space, Breakfast delicious. Rooms absolutely beautiful. Location is good, close enough to East London. The kitchenette in the rooms are an excellent idea.

Celebrating my 50th birthday and our 21st wedding anniversary couldn't have been celebrated at an ideal setting than Milkwood on Main. I sincerely appreciate my husband Donovan for your kind gesture for allowing me to remember our awesome years together at this magnificent guesthouse. Family and friends who visited us for this intimate celebration were lost for words at the ideal setting and comfort offered by your guesthouse. Unforgettable 50/21

The bedroom we stayed in at Milkwood on Main was spacious, well designed and clean.  The patio added welcome outdoor seating and the garden was well kept.  Parking was safe.  The service at Milkwood on Main was a cut above the rest - WELL DONE!  The local restaurant on the beachfront is within walking distance and the food is well prepared and well priced.

Milkwood on Main - Super Service

The guesthouse has absolutely everything one could need whatever the reason for your trip. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts are excellent and the coffee is real. The Wi-Fi is excellent and there is plenty of work-space. There are the most fantastic walks with views one usually only dreams about within 2 minutes of the accommodation. There is a restaurant/bar open daily within a very short drive or an easy walk. The accommodation is only about a 20 minute drive from the airport (towards PE) and this still makes a business trip when working in East London entirely feasible. This is also perfect for those seeking R&R and I have stayed here for various reasons and on multiple occasions. This is a not so well kept secret as its often booked up but the website and booking engine is very easy to navigate. I would not stay anywhere else in the area.

The Best Guesthouse in the Eastern Cape

Enchanting and calming home which was a home away from home. I enjoyed my stay with my family. Very clean place with engaging and hospitable staff.  The property's proximity to the sea made it more beautiful. The surroundings were clean and we had all the privacy we needed. I will definitely visit again soon.

Stayed at Milkwood on Main for one evening during a business trip and really enjoyed it.  My reception by owner Lindsay was very friendly and professional.  My self-catering room was very clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped for self-catering.  I originally booked for 2 nights and had to check out a day early at very short notice, however this was not a problem and Lindsay was very accommodating in this regard.  I can highly recommend Milkwood on Main for business or vacation stays.
