We got a good deal on a porch room for one part of our honeymoon and we had a lovely stay. The staff were super helpful and even gave us a fancy scented candle which was nice and unexpected. The lift was broken so the manager insisted on carrying our bags up the stairs which was kind. The room was not huge but it's in a really old shophouse building so you can't expect it to be, the porch however was massive and lovely to have a cool drink or coffee out there in the morning. The room had lovely decor and interesting design with a pod style bathroom although the towels were quite poor quality and there weren't any hand towels at all - I should have asked for some but I kept forgetting. Location was fab and the bed was super comfortable. Recommend eating at Potato Head over the way for dinner.

Nice quaint hotel in good location

I stayed for 5 nights. From the moment I walked in through the door I was greeted with a friendly smile and first class service, Check in was a doddle.  The manageress on duty, a young Korean lady, was professional to the tee. Nothing was to much. 
My room, a Heritage single was perfect and spotless. 
The hotel is central to everything. 
I cannot praise this hotel enough. Staff. Location. Charm. Just perfect.

Perfect place to stay

Very pleasant checkin and helpful with local info travelling around and tips 
Room on 3rd floor , probably about the average size of a small double bedroom in the uk 
NO window at all , tv , safe ,very small fridge , very small bathroom but clean linen / towels everyday comfy beds , A/C rubbish just didn’t go cold 
NOT recommended for anymore than a 2 night stay max 
Lift didn’t work the whole time we were there usual poor excuses so carrying cases were an absolute mission up windy stairs 
We didn’t book this hotel it was done as part of cruise / city stay through a tour company in the uk but I would not choose this hotel come what may !! 
Plus points were  excellent location for china town , bus routes, metro underground , and a nice evening buzz in a young cosmopolitan area in Singapore which helped massively so all was not lost

Only just average

We chose the hotel because it was close to the food opportunities of Chinatown so we were not bothered that the hotel did not have a restaurant nor that the rooms were small.
In the event, my wife was ill and did not eave the room. The hotel staff were very helpful and ordered some food in for her. I was able to get other food in from the 2 bakeries in the road and the Korean restaurants on the road at the top.

Very close to Chinatown

Small hotel within walking distance of China Town and local restaurants and night life.  Breakfast is included at a small bake shop just a block or so away.  Room was clean and comfortable.  Great restaurant and bar was across the street.  We arrived at about 10 am after a 17 hour direct flight and were able to check in.  Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for what to do and where to go.

Hotel near China Town

The staff are all wonderfully helpful and customer service oriented. Big thanks to assistance from Paul, Jeanie and Aslinda we are able to enjoy our trip with our elderly parents. Even though the room is a bit small but it is actually modern and clean.

Singapore fun 2018

This hotel is right in Chinatown area and in an older building but done up to modern standards. Nice and clean. Rooms are quite small as is the shower so if you are a big fellow than the single room might not be for you. Easy 2 min walk to lots and lots of eating places and 5 mins to the MRT. The famous 1 star Michelin restaurant is 2 min walk as well. About $20 to Airport by Uber or install Grab which is a local App and cheaper plus you can pay cash if you like. It's also fixed price.

Small Room but nice and clean

We were so pleased that after a long flight from uk our room was available much earlier than normal check in. We had a 'quaint' room in the roof it had no Windows which was perfect to shut out the world and get a few hours sleep before sightseeing. On that subject the hotel is a good location near to the tube at Chinatown . It seems everything was within a few stops. Staff were always on hand friendly and helpful. This is a really nice hotel in a traditional style building for the area and in a great location.

Really good hotel

After a 16.5 hour flight, I was so grateful that they had my room ready for me at 10 am well before the 3 pm check-in time.  The staff was very professional and attentive.  I forgot to print a few documents I needed for this trip and they were kind enough to do it for me.  After my first night, I decided I didn't like the room I was in.  The room was fine, except it had no windows.  They happily upgraded me for a nominal fee.
