We selected this location because it’s right on the waterfront, small quiet and cosy 

Plus points 
- Accessibility to the waterfront 
- Small and quiet 
- Friendly service 
- lots to do eg standup paddle, swimming, biking to nearby villages, walks or just chill 

Points to be considered 
- gazillion mosquitoes day and night 
-  reservation -  we had to book via Expedia since we can’t get through phone and it’s not avail on any other sites/ but when we arrived the staff told us they have been trying to get delisted on Expedia and don’t monitor bookings there. We were lucky to get a room and get refund from Expedia to pay them directly but it’s after a lot of follow ups. Expedia is a nightmare to deal with 
- no internet

- this place hasn’t been touched up for a while. We are told owner passed away 2 years ago. So pool, room really needs a lot of touch up

Restaurant is being rebuilt 
We only have coffee tea for breakfast. You will have to pack your own bread as there’s nothing nearby 
We settled Lunch and dinner at miam miam opposite and thank goodness for them as it’s in a quiet area with nothing else 

I will recommend this place for sure once they get the booking and facilities fixed

Fantastic location, but need a major overhaul

This is the absolute best place to come to with children and even with groups. Very good value for money and Marco & Fara are excellent hosts. They can arrange any type of tour for you or you can just relax by the poolside. Wifi in perfect condition.

Perfect location, impeccable rooms, relaxing atmosphere, delicious food!

Our tour around Senegal would not have been complete without this stop. After the beach in St. Louis and the desert of Lompoul our visit in Fagapa Village provided us with the perfect setting to relax.

Farah and Marco were amazing hosts and great company. The accomodations a fitted with all of the adequate necessities (AC, mosquito net, a cute bathroom and toilet).

They provide a kayak for travels on the laguna and a swimming pool for the warms afternoons. 

Regarding the food Farah made us a delicious thiep boudjen for a great price which was dealt with so fast that I could not take a picture (a note to make here is that you must order it at least 24h in advance my recommendation is to send her an email after the reservation to let her know when you will be eating on site and what you would like to eat. On a other note there is a restaurant right in front of the hotel the name is miam miam I also review it).

A last word of caution bring mosquito spray but that is everywhere you go in senegal regardless. There again Farah and Marco where amazing since they always had a spray for us just in case.

I loved it and would definitely do it again.
